Apple should discontinue the 8gb model, is useless have that amount of ram in a Macbook (any model) nowadays, just the OS by itself overload 69 of RAM and start hitting swap to the ssd, if you need to virtualize or do a little more multitask task, like Edge, Teams, and power point you hit 97-98 of RAM and for sure you will rocking swap as hell, I know MacOS is more portable/mobile approach because the arch of Apple CPU, but hello swap is slowly killing your ssd, and bye Macbook cause everything is soldered, and the longevity of Macbook is not more a core feature

I want for my first computer to be the 16 inch space black Mac book pro m4, it's a lot of money about 3549$ Canadian before taxs and it's probably going to be slightly under the most amount of money I've ever spent including on a vehicle brI'm imitately going to install a DAWbrI believe Logic x pro and start on my journey learning how to use it from YouTube videos, my brother is also very interested in video game design and I suggested we start learning together with something very simple like a top down RPG and he really loves the idea as over the years we've slowly grown farther apart and I hope we can build something we are passionate about together, we both love storytelling and games and Reminisced about our favorite childhood computer games from mini clip, New ground and the few our parents had on the family computer!!!

I just picked up the base model M3 at Best Buy for $850 USD, great steal in my opinion I needed something mostly for basic stuff and decided to go MacBook for once since I'm almost entirely in the Apple ecosystem outside of my home PC and consoles Have been pretty happy with it so far

Unfortunately, the battery and wifi issue is very bad The battery definitely runs out very quickly when used with Airpods I have been using the product for three months The Macbook pro m1 and Macbook pro i7 2019 that I used before were better computers Pro users may not like it The only good thing is that when I work in the garden on a sunny day, the screen definitely does not reflect The M1 pro was bad in this regard

I feel like Apple doesn't realize that 95 of people the air 13 or 15 is way more than enough for average use cases and there is literally no reason for pretty much anyone to buy the Pro nowadays The weight difference is substantial as well I have a 15 air m2 and held a m3 pro 14in and it feels like it weighs 10lbs heavier its so thick and dense I personally wouldn't want to use a Pro as a mobile solution at all Use a windows desktop or if a mac fan boy a mac studio at home and just get an air for traveling and taking around
