Good points, quite generic but nice comparison shots, however I have some missing or confusing information br1 M3 Air is reaching 100*C during prolonged cpu intensive task - honestly, I don't care about the cpu temps, as long as it's managed fine by the system What interests me is how it affects the chassis How's the palm rest during such work, or will I be able to keep it on my laps comfortably? I wish such comment would appear during such cpu intensive tests I have an intel-based MBP13 and during summer, even office work makes it nearly unusable as a LAPtop, while sitting on a sofabr2 Screen brightness - seeing contrary information Is the 1000 nit brightness available for SDR content? like mentioned office work? I've seen reviews that for non-HDR content, videos, software, the available brightness is at the same level as other laptops (500)

I think the 15 inch air is a little too expensive since they are 100 dollars apart, the 15 inch air has a lot worse screen, battery life, ports, all that, for me the M4 14 inch pro with its larger battery for 6 hours longer battery life, the display difference is huge also, the pro is 2x as bright at 1000 nits and over 3x for hdr and also having 120htz promotion is huge, i bought the M4 MacBook pro 14 inch, I don’t need a huge 15 inch laptop with a lot worse specs, it’s also around the same weight as the pro, I love the pro so much better, the display difference is shocking and the 120htz, the battery life and way more ports is well worth 100 dollars extra for the same specs for me

I bought the m3 air and returned for the m4 pro I love the pro much more I like the extra heft, the color (space black) and the speakers are so so much better so if you make music or love music Also the extra inch on the screen makes a big difference honestly especially when using GarageBand and video editing software I've yet to hear the fan everyone talks about it runs so smooth and is so efficient I haven't overworked it yet I'm so excited for the webcam features too cause I work remotely

Why does hardly any Ytuber address the terribly lame pixel refresh times on the MacBook Pro? Especially with the 14 model, the switching time b/w or g/g is about 70ms The digital image content is regenerated every 83ms but the pixel need 8x the time to react

I think it makes sense to go for the pro, here in UK we have just a £100 difference in both, after some discounts/ deals the m4 pro is costing £1304 and m3 15" air £1205, however with the £100 difference you are getting a newer chip, better speakers, better screen, more ports and a pro laptop
