I bought gold coins at a legit gold store with certificates and turned out to be fake, i refunded them 3 days after purchase when my dad told me, they didn't want to refund me until I mentioned the police and fraud and the manager was quick with that refund I did report it and the shop is no longer there

Best bet is to purchase from a reputable source Kinda sucks that smaller sellers who sell legit precious metals are goijg to be thown under the bus along with the scammers because as the market gets flooded with fakes, more and more people are going to buy from well established sources instead
