Thank you for the resources I have been looking for a German vocab book that is grouped by themes and topics Though I was very excited about the book "Mastering German Vocabulary: A Thematic Approach" but later I found that there is no plural form of the nouns included which is crucial when learning the nouns We should also learn the plural form of the noun with gender Do you recommend any other vocabulary book which solves this? Or how to rectify this issue if we have no other option?

In October I finished Assimil's B2 German course The recordings are very good and the audio is in German only It's mostly a dialogue-based method They introduce grammar in bite-sized chunks and go further into it every 7th day and in the grammar section at the back of the book There are no vocabulary lists to master I also have their C2 book, but the language of instruction is French, and I'm a B2 at best in that language Still, if you want to go well past beginner level German, you can't go wrong with the C2 book and audio I also like the video series (A1, A2, B1) 'Nicos Weg' which follows a Spanish immigrant's experiences in Germany It's available here on YouTube and there are no subtitles

A book you could get is called a DK visual bilingual book of german how ever nothing about grammar but has at least 6000 words it has some phrases as well it is good for items and is separated by categories of what the object is

Thanks for this GRAMMAR My go-to is Hammer's, 4 ed And Langenscheidt's Pocket Grammar, 1998 ed, has a combination of completeness and convenience that's hard to beat PRONUNCIATION Chris Hall's Modern German Pronunciation, 2 ed, is a fab one-stop-shop for native anglophones It helps to know IPA, but even if you don't, the consonant and vowel pronunciation how-to's are crystal clear The chapters on stress, intonation and conversational speech (assimilation, elision, glottal stops, etc) are superb

I have read Angelika Bohn's books and found them entertaining She also wrote a book about her experiences as a teacher of German (not intended for German learners) It is called Wem die Deutschstunde schlägt: Eine Lehrerin erzählt Have you read that? I also found useful English Grammar for Students of German, by Cecile Zorach, Charlotte Melin and Elizabeth A Kautz The next book is unfortunately no longer in print, but if you can find it, it might be useful/entertaining: Deutsch macht Spaß - An easy to understand German grammar review with Hagar and Peanuts cartoons in German, by Brigitte S Dubiel

I recently purchased the first book of Dino Lernt Deutsch, (A Cafe in Berlin) as I wanted to improve more of my German reading I realize that my Reading and my listening with the language I am rather lacking in I can understand bits and pieces but I still get overwhelmed and that anxiety of making a mistake and not being correct really bugs me I am so looking forward to getting the book 😊
