I recommend to begin reading fanfiction Hear me out! I used to loooove harry potter and reading fanfiction about it really help, It give you the characters that you love in unusual situations, like in a spaceship or in a farm, so it exposes you to new vocabulary that is specific to that context

My first fiction book in English was Terry Pratchett's "Mort" My friends tried to stop me: "It's to hard, you won't inderstand his British humor in a foreign language" Yes, sometimes it was hard But I didn't have to understand every single word And no one has I think if your goal is to read in a foreign language, you should focus on mening rather than grammar and new words Kato Lomb read "Dead Souls" with no prior knowledge of russian (but with Hungarian-English and English-Russian dictionaries) It's really crucial to find right book brbrRereading is also great advicebrbrThank you for video
