In OUR current assbackwards society and on the edge of Disaster, any 1oz Silver eagle or even a Generic Buffalo round is much easier to sell or trade than any bars,coins and some rounds are much more recognizable and much easier to sell or trade I personally call silver buying a roller coaster ride with prices non-stop up and down,but Gold is a Rocketship ride with Gold prices UP $40000 on EVERY oz

Anything can be faked Eagles can be and are faked If your are going to fake why not do so with an eagle that get you 3 to 5 dollars sometimes over spot

Yes but when you buy eagles or maples leaves you pay far over spot The fact that you get over spot when you sell them isn’t relevant You pay less premium for bars and so the difference is negligible at best It comes down to preference not necessarily right or wrong

I had a 100oz silver bar from JM Bullion I tried to sell it locally and no dealer would buy it due to them not having the tools to see if it was counterfeit I wouldn't allow them to drill into the bar to look for lead So, point being, bars are a problem to resell back to the dealers

One of the things that I think about if we go into a STHF situation is that it may not be as easy to trade as we hope for By that I mean, what if a loaf of bread was 10 oz and a box of pew pews cost 100 oz? We can hope, but won't really know until it happens It will really be what the local market is set at

Coin’s absolutely! They are worth more due to the premium If you’re selling gold, you’ll get more selling 10 1/10oz coins than you would for selling 1 ounce of gold I sell just above spot and buy as close to spot as possible!
