IF we do end up in a SHTF Mad Max world, the 1 or 2 gram or 1/10th oz coins make sense because they would be usable With a one ounce coin, no one is going to have that much change in a purchase It would be like buying $50 worth of groceries and only having $1700 on you Good luck with that That transaction could involve some lead :(

If you choose to buy 1g gold with huge premium (not for collection value or fun) you're probably on a budget, if you're on a budget why would you spend more and get less?! Save some more cash and buy something bigger with lower premium (it doesn't have to be 1oz or 50g bar) and you'll still enter the game but in a smarter way If it's a long run journey two or three months of saving doesn't have to be a big deal! 🤷‍♂️
