So should I purchase 18 gold sovereign coins at £6,09220 for 13q80 grams of gold or should I purchase a 100 gram bar of gold and a 1 ounce gold bar for £602900 ?brI plan to keep hold of the purchase for the next ten yearsbrThanks if you can help in my dilemma Comment from : @mgtowchampion7961 |

Just like you said, people fake bars all the time even poured silver Anyone can buy an assay kit and stamp on it Comment from : @numanuma20 |

I love to buy what I love to look at! And if it has a low premium over spot, that's even better :) These can be privately minted rounds or bars, government coins, and everything in between My most favorite silver pieces to buy are the ones from small private mints that make the most beautiful and detailed pieces ever but come with higher premiums (for good reasons)brHowever, spot prices have a lot to do with what I am buying at the timebrFor example, when spot prices are really low I'll grab some of my fav Pandas, Kooks, other Perth Mint coins, some ASE'S, etcbrBut when spot is what it is now ($18 or so) I am usually stacking the average round or bar that has the best price at the time and I'll even grab some ASE's that are on sale Comment from : @Kristina2 |

I’m 13 I’ve been stacking with all the money I save up and I have about 40oz of silver and some platinum and gold Comment from : @gagejendrzey |

Fun Fact: The US state of Utah has its own gold-backed legal tender called the Utah Goldback which are bills containing real gold albeit only usable in Utah and comes with a high premium I've just learned this, but found it interesting Comment from : @EhurtAfy |

Very interesting commentary I'm sticking to coins with my own very small collection -- just got my first gold, a 1/10 oz Maple Not much, but it is a beautiful coin and widely recognized here Now if only I could afford a full ounce maybe one day Thanks for the tips! Comment from : @AK-lg8fj |

Sooooto be clear, what is valuable? anything silver right? Sooo coins with numismatic value are more expensive/valuable because they are "known" to be genuine and therefore easier to sell vice a round with no COA, or with a COA, but who knows if that documentation is viable???brIn my opinion and I am a "GREEN" NOVICE, it seems that coins from a mint with a COA are more valuable because they are of known reputation as well as the numismatic value stamped on themRight?brJunk silver (quarters, dimes, etc-of the proper years) coins purchased seem to fulfill value of the metal as well as the numismatic value without a COA because people will have seen that coin all their lifebrI would think (again I'm way ignorant) having a big bar of gold or silver could be tested chemically for its purity Is that not true? If not how do manufactures determine the "999 pure" of what they are producing in gold/silver, coin/bar is correct?brPersonally, my interest in gold/silver is for tender should the economy plummet small silver coins, or gold coins for that matter, seem wiser to buy for this situation just because of the value of the metal Having a large bar of gold or silver being worth much money is not practical to buy a bushel of fruit or 3 pounds of meatbrI dont say my way is right! I am searching for the best way to have my metals be useful as the situation dictatesbrThe other thing I think about is the premium paid for metals when purchasing When things go bad, who knows what the premium will be to sell or trade using gold/silver because there will be a demand for it (greed)brWhat is your intention for buying precious metal? Is it to balance a portfolio, to admire, or put it to use to purchase food should things come to that?brThank you for your videos and views! They are thought provoking Comment from : @davekri1662 |
|

I'm new to silver stacking (just ordered my first two 1oz silver bars yesterday!) but your channel is rather inspiring to watch, let alone mesmerizing with your pours I find myself curious however, have you ever considered creating your own coins rather than just rounds? While I know the difference is really just a matter of weight, I for one have been kind of curious about creating custom coin designs, perhaps based around fantasy settings or even inspired by real-world items (I've always loved the King John penny), but how would one go about doing that? Or is it something that private vendors/mints might consider doing?brbrKeep up the great work! Comment from : @Danthar |

90 gold gov mint coins 10 Pamp gold bars (1 ounce and 50g half and half) I like the look of Pamp but gov mint coins apparently is the conservative play🤔🤓👍 Comment from : @gerrykelly-zk6lf |
