This is why working at McDonald's isn't considered a SERVICE field or HOSPITALITY This is why you TIP at a quality establishment, because they are SERVING you you DON'T pour your own wine, water or coffee they remove empty/ finished dishes to keep your table clean and they GUIDE you through their menu and dishes and can name every ingredient Ladies are still served first, and the host last and you place food down from the right and remove from the left this is called Points of Service we don't auction off food, we know exactly who had what and you should never have to look around for your server
