I am a huge NCL girl , but agree on the pool issue Rediculous saving seats from 7am and no one deals with it Also day activities always the same Need to change them up once in a while Other than that they rock !!!

Went on older Royal Caribbean ship last year While it was the most beautiful especially compared the Edge class by Celebrity , it was super fun without children running wild and almost tripping me I didn’t regret it at all My favorite line is Princess( medallion tech is awesome) but end up on Celebrity mostly due to the people I travel with Any cruise is great Carnival is my absolutely least favorite

Nice job on the content of cruise companies, Thanks I’ve only been on 10 cruises I say that because I have a friend or two that has done 20-30 We have been on Carnival, NCL, Royal and Princess My favorite is so far is a Princess 10 day Panama Canal Well I’m a foodie with a champagne taste on a beer budget I want to try my first time repositioning cruise from Europe to Florida area I would like to try only Premium cruises like Princess, HAL, Celebrity and Virgin I’m kinda surprised we haven’t heard from other European cruise companies like MSC to be market here in the US Peace

Last year returning from Europe I took my first solo cruise and loved it It was a very rich experience Everyday I read, spent time in the hot tub, ate when I wanted, walked around the ship, and some days I even went to the gym And I had a lot if time to think Never lonely, never bored I was on a Norwegian ship and had a solo balcony, which was amazing The price was comparable to the price of a one-way ticket home, but so much more fun I loved it so much that for 2025 I’ve booked a Celebrity cruise for my return from Europe Celebrity also went out of their way to accommodate me at a reasonable rate

I just started cruising last fall and I’ve done MSC, NCL, and Royal I liked MSC quite a lot The Royal Caribbean ship was a smaller older ship and it’s surprising that it never felt cramped or outdated even though it was 20 years old I’m looking at how seriously and maybe celebrity – I think I would pass on Princess because I think the demographic is on the older side I also heard, and I have no idea if it’s true, that there are very few gay people on princess and you won’t really see LGBT representation – this is a must but as a solo cruiser, it’s nice to have some community

Next year my spouse M/54 and I F/54 will be sailing for the first time on Princess, it was a bit disheartening to hear they had the best “tech” Could have been, stateroom or embarking or disembarking even coffee and cake I’m sure we will have great time mostly because we have nothing to compare it to

Our carnival food experience was totally different than yours The MDR was substandard Gristle steaks, miniscule chicken portion, filthy "topping bar" at the Guys burgers, overflowing garbage cans in every dining venue The pizza was the only good food that wasn't extra pay When paying hundreds even thousands for a cruise, good pizza shouldn't be the thing people rave aboutbrI sailed with NCL on the US west coast pre pandemic Prime rib, good entertainment, good service Haven't sailed with them post pandemic Seems to have changed according to to vlogsbrIm saving now for a celebrity cruise We are in our later sixties and value good food, and good entertainment when cruising Parties and amusement park rides are of no interest

we are looking at Princess Sun Princess vs Holland Niuew Statedam Both are going to similar places and times Prices are similar except Holland is offering $200 OBC vs $50 OBC vs Princess WE will be taking our kids aged 19,21,23,23, and 26 This would save us about $600 as we are paying for everything Which cruise would you think would be better for our family? we do like the OBC as we can use that for our excursions we plan on taking and saving a little money but we also want the ship to be fun for everyone We are also sailing with My brother and sister in law who have never been on a ship and are very reluctant They have high standards and think of ships as floating buffets so we want to impress them so they would hopefully sail again with us another time THANKs for you time

Going on celebrity Ascent in March brWill be my significant others first cruise And I had to really convince him to give it a try (I've tried cruising once aand actually has the thought he would like it more than I) I feel confident we picked the right line and ship for us I'd the to pick the wrong one and taint his opinion with a bad experience so I felt it important to really research the ship for us Here's hoping we got it right (And that he doesn't get sea sick- his biggest concern)

My first cruise was also on Navigator of the Seas before I discovered "cruise you tube" So I know I did not get the most out of it, but it did give me an immediate love for cruising Many different circumstances later, I am so excited to be going on my second cruise next month on Explora Journeys I This will be a completely different experience, not just because I am moving from a mass market to a luxury cruise, but also thanks to your channel and others I feel much more prepared

I was on NCL a couple weeks ago My job I usually have to get up early in the morning and I woke up and went to the 24-hour Eatery end at 4 to 6:00 they told me all I could get was a bagel So just remember that even though they say 24 hours and technically it's true they would only allow me to get a bread item like toast or bagels

Have you gone on other cruise lines? Oceania, Silver Sea, or Viking (some of these lines are owned by the cruise companies you mentioned here)? Maybe these are oriented to more elder people, and the itineraries are not out of Miami (European, Pacific) I suspect that these are smaller ships compared to the ones you reviewed

We are headed on cruise #5 this summer Our first was 2002 Royal Caribbean (Adventure of the Seas) We found out we weren’t really beach people Cruised HAL to Alaska and North East Fall Foliage Tour We liked the fact that they catered to more mature cruisers We cruised to Norway last summer on NCL and lived Norway, Amsterdam, Bruges and Iceland We are taking my brother-in-law this summer on NCL for his first cruise from Boston up the east coast I really enjoy your tips and used the magnets in our room last year

Yes I am interested in cruise deals and how far ahead should I be booking to avoid cruises being sold out! I am Canadian not sure if there are a lot of deals out because of the exchange rate now $130 to the US dollar!
