So a little known guy here on YouTube Y’all might have heard of him he goes by Dr Mike! He has a conflicting point of view regarding protein powders Essentially his advice is if you’re not a top trier IFBB pro the difference of buying an isolate protein powder vs a concentrate protein is the amount of money you will spend That you will most likely see no difference in muscle growth between the two, just a difference in the size of your wallet I understand that a more filtered protein can be easier for your body to digest, but is a 45 markup worth a negligible increase in protein synthesis????? Please hit me with the science and peer reviewed research and change my mind

Optimum whey - I didn't build any muscle I took out about 10 boxes of 22 kg no muscle I don't eat sugar, I eat normally, without the protein I would have gained more muscle this is a huge business it didn't affect me, just wasted money big it might be disappointing, it works with steroids but thanks, I'd rather stay healthy

One thing I've found is mixing pineapple chunks with my protein , the enzymes in the pineapple seem to help digest the protein shake I don't always have whey , I drink my,own lil,recipe , 8oz milk , half a,cup of oats , a half a cup of either yogurt or cottage cheese , 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and i,add water if I need to , works,good
