You definitely need to drink more water if you're eating protein shakes No doubt about that I used to go by my day with 2 or less liters of water before, now as I am eating shakes I need 3 or more liters, some days I drink 5 liters and my pee is still somewhat yellow

the link with dairy & acne is 100 true for me i had acne for years and got completely rid of it by drastically reducing milk, cream & yogourt in my diet & starting a skincare routine as soon as i start drinking milk even in low amount in my coffee, my acne reappears so i do take only vegan protein which helps me grow muscle without the acne issue

There is a big misunderstanding with these studies, people who take high amounts of protein also train and lose or gain weight, and these can afect hormones, kidneys, liver, its not the protein but the amount of work your body does, lifting weight, regulating hormones , etc, protein doesnt alone afect your hormones, its the calorie deficit or surplus, plus the amount of work your body takes to regenerate and regulate thruoght the process, these studies look at people consuming protein, but it doesnt take acount of the activity/diet these subject intake daily
