I feel whats best about pamp is the security With all the counterfeit bullion out there it helps to be able to scan the bar with your phone Plus pamp quality is amazing all the way around

I buy the 25 gram PAMP bars from Monument Metals and do a wire for it Monument Metals has the best prices, I buy one a month and when you do the wire you only pay a $1499 premium, which is really low for a 25 gram bar

In my country, jewellers prefer bullion of pure 24K gold, regardless whether they're bars or coins They only buy based on gold spot price (without premiums) So I mostly stack gold bars as I can buy them in fractional forms and at lower premium than coins brOddly, they usually reject non-pure gold bullion such as AGE or Krugerrand, but they will buy jewelleries regardless of purity

the problem with coins is that they have face value so lets say, that your government outlaws gold, like back in the 1930ies and they force you to hand over your coins, they might say "well, this has a face value of $XX, so that is what we are paying for it You shouldn't have spent more than what it says on the coin, now that is your problem"

I'm a long term stacker, so I don't really care as much about today's premiums If gold is $3-5k in the future, I won't care about the spot price of today when I purchased it In 5-10 years, the gold will be worth much more than it is now, so I will get my money back and more With that said, i prefer the bars No frills and easy to trade/barter/sell/exchange when the time is right Gold bars and silver coins for me

I say gold coins and bars, Gold Spartan In terms of gold coins I prefer sovereigns, American Gold Eagles, American Gold Buffalo's, , Canadian Maple Leafs and Krugerrands In terms of bars, I prefer Pamp Suisse, Credit Suisse, Perth Mint, and Royal Canadian Mint bars

You will loose money on fractional no matter what Even if you manage to sell it on eBay for spot You will get hammered by the eBay and PayPal pal fees I get spot plus 5 bucks at my coin shop for 1 ounce American gold It’s not hard to sell 1 ounce coins at all Even if you have a crappy coin shop in your area, you still will get 20- 50 bucks under spot which is what better than 15 percent eBay fees Fractional is easier for people to buy but you just will not get back that high premium when you sell it I know, I’ve done it

I don’t think it’s correct that 5gm is more sellable than 1oz 1oz is as easy to sell as 5gm But you pay a lot more acquiring 5gm bars, so if you sell 1 1oz bar or 6 5gm bars, you will lose more money in selling 5gm bars

I gotta say, gold premiums are super low compared to silver You pay 2 for Gold Eagles but 15-20 for Silver EaglesbrbrIn my opinion, have your stack 50/50 gold/silver, with Gold eagles and low premium silver bars and junk That way you get the best exposure to both metals but lower risk for selling gold stack and higher return for silver stack
