You’re never bored with this movie Unlike “Jurassic Park” - you knew what would eventually happen, and the action parts just get repetitive In “Jaws,” you’re not bored I’m not saying “Jurassic Park” was a bad movie - it has amazing scenes — I’m just using an example “Jaws” also didn’t have the corny/cheesy jokes Spielberg eventually uses in all his films… it’s just the perfect blend of everything Humor, action, special effects, music, acting The 1970’s definitely helped save the movie industry

Born in 85, 10 years after it was made…and i believe my parents let me watch it when i was 5 or so…37 now and still one of my favorite movies ever…you dont ever see that many timeless movies but you can watch it over and over and it never feels dated or a ridiculous concept…i mean hell that guy in egypt got ripped to shreds a few months ago…its so damn scary cause it has happened, can happen and will happen again, a shark attack is inevitable…and spielberg and his fantastic crew and cast made it all possible

U can wrangle land animals even apex predator land animals like Large Cats & all types of Bears & even occasionally even large man eating reptiles if its not too big & was born in captivity around humans its entire life butwhat they didn't know was that u can't wrangle a shark!!!! Its a fish not a mammal or a bird or reptile, it doesn't ever leave the water like all the other apex predators i just named!!!! GWS's don't even survive in captivity & thats why we have no aquariums with them👍

Kind of a slap in the face to say Verna Fields had just added little 5 frame "bits" to the film She's considered one of the big reasons why Jaws was such a powerful movie Her editing was superb, and she had invented several shots/wipes that made it artistically interesting, too
