My mom was on hospice and she woke up in extreme pain My sis in law who is a nurse was there she called the hospice nurse who was on call The hospice nurse was at a party and didn't want to be disturbed My sister in law let her have it

Being on call is great when you don’t get calls, but when you do get calls and there’s a lot of them oof I’m in an industry that it’s common to work on call jobs but unfortunately for me I learned in university I have insomnia so that won’t work for me

Hey I'm a hospice survivor Been 8 years now, still trying to taper off the meds One of my hospice nurses dropped me in-between our tub and toilet Also I was dropped from Hospice with a fake Dr referral😢

My step dad is the head plumber at his company and on the weekend he had to go on call He makes bank A LOT more than $75 He gets more if he actually gets a call Recently he’s decided to not go on call and gives that extra time to the younger plumbers He just couldn’t relax He likes his beers lol

I used to work on call (for just a equipment rental company) and it was the worst We'd work full weekends and the entire time I'd be anticipating a call that would take up the next 4 hours of my day It was the absolute worst
