When we talk about salary it's important how many hours in a month you work Because someone can say his/her big salary and everybody like: "Wow, cool, you're so successful!" But maybe this person works 6 days in week, 12 hours a day😀

Yes, nurses make decent money we old hags in Texas make about $60/hr When you apply for a new job, always remember the posted salary range is a mere suggestion If you have experience, push for the hourly you want Hospitals will pay for experience but will also pay you what they want if you'll accept it Know your worth

majority of the nursing is at the undergraduate level these nurses work bedside and in specialty areas like ICU and surgery For the amount of responsibility, stress and physical labor, I don’t think we’re properly compensated at all

It depends on which state you live I’ve been working as an LVN here in Bay Area California for only 15 yrs and making $38 per hour The rate is good but you have to consider the cost of living as well It’s so damn expensive to live here

I started working for Disney as an LPN covid Tester/Health monitor for their film set locations in Vancouver and Burnaby BC just this month on October 9th It's a simple job and the experience and opportunity is great as I meet most the film crew, extras and celebrities So far, I've done 3 consistent show for Disney via The Mighty Ducks, Motherland and A Million Little Things and have tested Charlie Sheen's brother aka Emilio Estevez twice personally along with Allison Miller and Grace Park and others, just to name a few The problem is that I don't have any health benefits since it's a contract and I only get paid around $36 CAD/hr or $2750 USD/hr and the hours and scheduling is very chaotic Sometimes I work as early as 5/6 am, sometimes 9/10 am and sometimes noon and the schedule and location can change or vary any time, so I need to be alert with my email and messages from Disney and/or my employer brbrEdit: Being a nurse gives you a lot of job security as it is always in demand I've been an LPN for nearly 9 years and I have never been unemployed I had to personally quit and take a time off to spend with family during these tough times and didn't start looking for a job until the beginning of October 2020 and suddenly I landed the Disney job I'm contracted to work for Disney until A) The Covid ends B) Until all the Disney filming in Vancouver and Burnaby BC finishes, which I don't know when that would be
