Do you think the Britannias would be recognizable enough to use as barter in Sweden, in a SHTF scenario? Before I discovered the prepper stacker thing a few weeks ago I had never seen a Britannia silver coin But it is the geographically closest government minted silver coin as far as I know There are Swedish government minted silver coins too of course, but only on the secondhand market

I love Austrian Ducats and the higher gold content for a "circulated" coin I have a dozen, 4 Ducats that when you strike them in a Pocket Pinger, they have the loudest, clearest, most resonance of any gold or silver coin that I own I'm hearing impaired but these I can really hear and enjoy Maybe it's the thinnest that has something to do with it Such a large coin but SO thin Unique and beautiful Looking to soon acquire some 1 Ducats while the price is down Hate the higher premium on the fractionals, though Of all government minted coins you just can't beat the low premiums of the British Royal Mint And that's with shipping cost, overseas Love the Brittianias and Tudor Beasts As far as I'm concerned, the US Mint is guilty of price gouging Just one more thing that is wrong with this country br #FJB

I forgot to mention this when I commented earlier but the uneven edges in newer gold buffaloes is from finning I see it in my buffaloes which are newer, the older ones don't tend to have the same quality issues When I say newer I mean when they started selling them in tubes, the older ones they sold encased in plastic
