I served from Nov 1999 to Dec 2004 I never used my GI bill I was told that if you were active duty during 9-11, your GI bill doesn't expire When i spoke to the VA, they said my GI bill expired 2017 How is this possible? They can't give me an explanation Comment from : @SimmCity3

I am doing VR&E to become an electrician The school has been paid, but myself? Not so much It did take me a couple of years to get the program Background on myself, my post 911 gi bill had expired back in 2018 So I am not sure what i will get for bah It could be 60 like it was when I did post 9 222 gi bill(i was a reservist called to active duty for less than 2 years time What is going to happen to me I don't know but I do know that it will be ok in the end Highly recommend establishing a support group Comment from : @charleswomack2166

Biggest thing I've learned dealing with a VR&E councilor is make sure they're very clear on what they are looking for I've had to try to interpret what they wanted from a school only to have him repeat his request for the thing he asked for I figured, the Veterans reps would know what he wanted, that was not the case Make them explain in detail what they want Time is not on your side in this program Comment from : @jibantik00
