If you're going to permanently keep them or hold them for at least 20 years the coins but if you're going to sell them in 3 to 7 years than the bars Comment from : @chrisruth7057 |
Why are you Melting your silver down? Comment from : @Bomber848480015 |

In the UK neither Simply because the government creams off 20 in VATbrbrOnly gold coins as legal tender escape that net Comment from : @MENSAlady2 |
Cut them up and melt them?! Huh? For what reason? I don't understand I buy silver so I will have money/value to sell and barter with when the dollar has no value any longer Comment from : @tash6132 |
I like 5oz bars ( Pioneer metal) & 1oz rounds ( Buffalo) but thinking about getting at least 200 oz of the 10oz Buffalo bars too Just Comment from : @TwitchRadio |
I can't believe this guy thinks any of us would actually own a GUN safe! Who in their right mind would want to own guns and silver BOTH??? (Opens safe to check for any additional room for ARs or Ag Nope! Packed to the gunnels!) Comment from : @maxcactus7 |
Videos would be more watchable without the constant spastic hands moving into the video frame Comment from : @harmoniousembodiment7203 |
I want to like your videos your hands drive me nuts We are not teenagers and you are not talking about fortnite Comment from : @archiered |

Why did you say you melt down your silver? Comment from : @maximusfl3926 |
If you’re a prepper stacker, there’s an argument for both as, like LCS’s, some people will want to barter in bars and some in rounds Comment from : @The_trees_have_ears |
I wish it was still at $15 Comment from : @missourivalleyrails |
Why would you melt your silver? Comment from : @freedomwillring6749 |

Im a rounds guy for sure Comment from : @tianalandis4115 |
Sonewbie here Why are you melting the bars on your own? Wouldn't that invalidate the value? Wouldn't govt minted coins be more easily traded, sold etc? People could question the integrity of bars or rounds Comment from : @dougb3697 |
I think the 10 oz bars cost around 320 from the Apmex or JD bullion Each ounce of silver cost 32 dollars How in the world do you expect to get a lower price? Comment from : @gossman75 |
I prefer a mix of bars and rounds, since I'm buying to retain value as a hedge against inflation and something to protect against SHTF Comment from : @cephasmartin8593 |
I prefer bars I can’t articulate why, I just think they look/feel better in my hand Comment from : @joshua7999 |
Both Comment from : @Hero-3 |
No reason for not both … American silver eagle or Canadian maple leaf can be good options as well Comment from : @The_Temple |
Rounds have higher premiums so they can go for more per ounce but you’ve helped me learn alit thanks Comment from : @DarthPickleCT |

All depends how much you have to invest that month I usually go with the bars Comment from : @markpayne6384 |
Do you have a video showing what the slide looks like to detect if it’s real silver or fake? Comment from : @goldenblooms6672 |
It drives me nuts watching these videos on which is better silver rounds or bars? The fact is both are better! To buy one and not the other is ridiculous in my book They know nothing about investing, the question should be what is better, investing in silver or buying silver? Investing is much better to buy silver not so much you will lose a lotbrbrAt today's market price at this moment of this writing, I can buy rounds NO, in fact, not just rounds but silver eagles at an average cost of $029 (Twentynine cents) per eagle <<< That is not a type-O that is the difference between investing and buying brbrThe only hint I am giving you to this question >>> "What is Better to Buy, Silver Rounds or Silver Bars? Answer: BOTH not one without the other Comment from : @junkmanbilly3602 |
Gun safe! REEE LOL Just having a little fun ;-) Comment from : @Hasher411 |
Nobody wants 1oz silver bars Comment from : @SCzxjk |
Both!!! Comment from : @chrismazzucca7104 |
you missed one key difference between them: Playing around with them 10 oz bars make better paperweights Coin tricks are easy with 1 oz rounds You can do poker chip games with the 1oz rounds, but there is some satisfaction in the heft of the 10oz bars If you want to do some engraving or art or such, 10 oz bars are a better palette Comment from : @johnsanford3596 |
Asian: we are KILO BAR BUG Comment from : @kenjimiao967 |

I like both, but rounds first for me When I'm ready to buy 10 oz at a time, I'll get bars too Comment from : @jysportscardguy8935 |
I really dislike how you are comparing 1 ounce rounds to 10 ounce bars Why not compare 1 ounce coin to 1 ounce bar Comment from : @nenabetashun |
Perhaps I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill, but right now with being so new to silver stacking, I don't think I'm familiar enough with the numismatic side of it What I mean is, I'd hate to buy something thinking it was something it wasn't, or thinking it wasn't something when really it was, it's a whole different ball game if you're going to get into coins, at least that's how I've come to understand it Comment from : @schmalzilla1985 |
Who cares about $3 for 10 ounces Comment from : @pappabear4977 |
Hey man, what's that "gold/silver bull bar"? Be well, be safe Comment from : @smonahan67 |

Stack anything at or under spot And I’ll buy anything that looks cool and beautiful, at least once I have that cool 2 oz Kraken round, won’t buy another, one is good enough Comment from : @oldmanjenkins771 |
I prefer bars If i wanted a round i'd buy ASE's Comment from : @cronbtc5680 |
My question is does it matter if i touch the bars and rounds or should i get air tight packages? I figure only the silver eagles would maybe require the air tight containers Comment from : @AlexRamirez-vz1vj |
Personally I favour the coins mostly just because of the face value Comment from : @bigweiner92 |
Every week I change it up, 5gram gold bar, 10 1/4 gold rounds, 10 oz silver bar, 20 rounds of silver Comment from : @krisherrera9834 |
Another factor: which makes you feel more like a pirate? Haha Comment from : @CarlosDavidLopez4077 |
Personally I like the variety of rounds but I stack mainly with weight in mind so bars it is 10oz bars do have a wonderful feel in your hands though Comment from : @Lee-xb7lb |
Because one of the most important features of my stack is "diversity", I don't think that most of the categories actually matter I would buy bars and rounds, though I would stick to 1oz On that issue, I say to each his own, that's just about tiny differences in risk levels (ie 1oz vs 5 or 10oz fakes) The risk difference is so small that it just only warrants a mention I don't like bars, but I try to keep my bullion 33 1oz government minted, 33 generic 1oz rounds, 33 generic 1oz bars And of course, 50 of my stack is 90 Constitutional, and the other 50 of my stack is bullion divided as I indicated I have other stuff like sellable Silver (ie lower quality 90), 40 Kennedy's, 35 War Nickels, jewelry, etc but I don't count that stuff as part of my stack Really, that stuff just insulates my stack from having to be used in an emergency right away It gives me just enough of a buffer that maybe I'll be able to keep it long-term, maybe retire on it, or even just pass it or a portion of it on to my kids Who knows? Great video! Comment from : @veritasfiles |
Bullion Art is the best choice! www1776mintcom Comment from : @Mint-rv2et |
Rounds and answer please Comment from : @howardsmall1612 |
Should I only buy generic rounds if it has the manufacturer name on the rounds along with the 999silver listed and the term one ounce listed Comment from : @howardsmall1612 |
Doesn't matter They weigh it and give you cash!!!! Simple Why even ask? Comment from : @silvershiner7008 |
1 oz silver coins (mainly ASEs and Maples) and 20 oz Bars (Scottsdale) Love em both Comment from : @jay-rus4437 |
Team triangle acdc silver pick Comment from : @SilverWatcher |
I am not really into the generic stuff, but generally speaking I would be team bars -- although I do see the need for having fractional silver (which is always the argument supporting generic rounds) Comment from : @ericcasagrande |
Well think "what if’s” plays a huge factor What if America collapse, and martial law is applied Got to think of all scenarios I’m not a domes day preppier nothing like that, but According to what I hear on the news today, and what I read the Bible today Gloom and doom is coming My point is which would be easier to offload and what would be easy to carry Please don’t tell me you gonna stay in your house Comment from : @jerrywaters4814 |
In this case, I would go with the bars over the rounds (which I would not likely ever buy) Comment from : @ericcasagrande |
Your intro voice is so fake Lol But i love you Comment from : @masterrocs |
I'm team both Comment from : @josefsmith3140 |
When starting out get 200, 1 oz generic bars Invest 15 in other PM' s Follow this till your comfy Comment from : @mastaangler7055 |
Im just getting started, but i started off with bars, but when i realized it's all really about the weight, i moved to 2 oz rounds that are extremely cool to me with the design work Great video Comment from : @frankgarcia2201 |
First time listener, why would you address everybody Ie hey hey YouTube That kind The thing in 2010 Also time for a professional microphone versus your laptop microphone Comment from : @BrianBetron |
Silver Dragons so are you saying that buying generic silver rounds or bars is cheaper than buying silver granules that are meant for melting? I see Silver Gold Bull & other dealers offering granules for melting often so why not buy those? As far as stacking goes I have only a very few generic rounds & bars because I feel if there ever was an economic collapse that Government minted coins would be more recognizable and easier to sell or trade I stack without the idea of selling unless there was a serious emergency My stack will be for my son to inherit and in the meantime for me to have fun stacking/collecting I like beautiful coins & bars that I can enjoy looking at as well as for the retention of wealth I rarely buy high premium coins or bars even though if I had money to burn I would most certainly buy more hand-poured interesting bars or rounds Comment from : @Dakiniwoman |
Test slide please show and demo Comment from : @sterlingcannabis |
The over spot is everything, in my opinion Comment from : @sterlingcannabis |
