I am from Afghanistan, wardak and it was under talibans hands for years there were wars My father didn't go to wardak for 13 years cause rhe Taliban would k**l him, but we went every year I was also stuck in wars a few times as a kid and teen but now we're in Canada No one is talking about how wardak is ignored and destroyed

My understanding of the Afghanistan War started by a Texan no less (not too dissimilar to Texans chasing Mexicans off their own land) was started by King Bush II for no other reason than for the US to get their hands on the Al-Queda bombers of 9-11 brbrLater, while in Afghanistan the US (Bush) decided to go into Iraq to insure the US would retain access to Iraqi natural resources Even though both the US CIA & NSA briefed Bush they had No Evidence that Hussein “had weapons of mass destruction” And subsequent international investigations verified Hussein had None So both “wars” were “manufactured” conflicts & Bush II has never paid Any price for his deceptions brbrUnless US citizens no longer care about the “truth” any longer (evidently they don’t, because they just re-elected Donald Trump to the highest office in America, knowing he’s a convicted felon), the facts are that Bush lied to the American public of which there should be judicial consequences brbrNO public servant should be immune to prosecution When one looks at the resources & lives sacrificed for no legitimate reason it’s not that much different than the Jewish Holocaust Innocent lives were sacrificed for no legitimate reason

I don't get why Biden gets all the blame for the withdrawal He didn't negotiate with the Taliban He didn't draw down US troop strength to an unsustainable level Biden had to send back several thousand troops just to cover the withdrawal If you get right to the heart it's Bush's fault for invading Iraq which diverted much needed money and manpower from Afghanistan Trump compounded this by negotiating a withdrawal with only the Taliban That left the Afghan government with no legitimacy After WWII we had the Marshal Plan to rebuild Eroupe After Afghanistan we declared victory and left Sound familiar?
