It seems to me that silver, like Morgan's get much better grades than gold coins At shows or online I see coins that look almost perfect come back as a ms62 but a morgan with the same contact marks would be 64-65 I really like Indian coins but I don't have any The 1927 has a good grade, that should help with the grading cost Comment from : @americanfortruth |
Coins graded “ cleaned” sometimes have been strrilize in vinegar or hyssop bc of exchange risk Comment from : @ronaldmitchell3665 |

I was realy OFF Comment from : @smlang1951 |
You didn't make money because you graded them, you made money because you bought them for less than they were worth Perhaps you should check with a coin dealer and have him pre screen so you don't spend money buying or sending in cleaned/damaged/or low grade coins Your AU, 10 dollar gold is obviously AU and could be sold as raw After all you bought it raw:) Glad you had fun and I enjoyed your video, just feel bad watching you throw lots of money out for little results A good 20 power glass would have shown you the scratches and cleaning marks Comment from : @RobertLee-wi5kc |

u need to learn to notice a cleaned coin not very hard so many of these were obviously cleaned if it were one or two fine but now 2 of your videos nearly half u sent in were cleaned lol Comment from : @tba6403 |
A scratch is damage, damage is not gradable Yes “bag marks” are technically damage as well but they occur naturally to a coin through normal handling Scratches occur from improper handling of a coin That’s why one is gradable and one is not Comment from : @FranklinHalfAddict |
since i cant aford the gold incuse indian i baught the silver version of them should i get them graded 0:) Comment from : @michaelvenniro9682 |

Awesome and hey sometimes the older pcgs coins I have I re submitted one that was graded in the late 90s it was an 1880-S Morgan has a MS-62 on it had it regraded it came back a MS-64 Comment from : @eagledrive |
Silver run March 17th 2023!! Buy buy buy Comment from : @redman6583 |
I think a scratch affects the grade because the old idea was that the grade should, in theory, be so consistent that a buyer could buy a coin of whatever grade sight unseen and have a good idea of what he was getting A grade of x with a scratch would only disappoint a buyer who expected an x graded coin in good shape for grade x And, PCGS can't just give the coin a lower grade and release it because someone wanting that grade also probably doesn't want a scratch version of that grade Comment from : @glanyan5462 |
Pre 33 takes time to learn the condition Got a 64 that’s a great pick Comment from : @John-lt7il |
Great haul! Cheers! PS Just curious--how long did it take PCGS to get those coins back to you? My group took 3 months/one week Comment from : @jeemalsoknownasjimhawkins1294 |
Not sure why a scratch impacts the capacity to grade a coin but bag marks do not Comment from : @MCC4RTHY1 |

Max, you need to turn the PCGS box other side We are able to see the grade on next coin when its still in the box🙂 Either way, great video You know what they are and didn't blame PCGS for the grades I have seen people who keep blaming grading companies for the grades they received There is a reason the grading companies exist Amazing job👏👏 Comment from : @sn7991 |
Great video! My Dad brought me into the coin-collecting world Nothing wrong with collecting $$, while owning a piece of history ❤ Comment from : @kmiller0402 |

Hey Silverpicker I love these videos, but I want to let you know about someone impersonating you He is in many of your comment sections, such as the Whatnot Drops video He is replying to everyone telling them they won a package, but I know it's not you I just thought I'd warn you since he is scamming your viewers brEdit: He is actually in this comment section I just looked Comment from : @FishyFishaz |

My Experience with One of the Largest Grading Companies:brI got this one slabbed to protect it from the environment and the critics that inevitably say that it was tampered with This Shinny Sacagawea graded at MS66 Brilliant Uncirculated before I put it on youtube in 2014 and got accused of tampering with it by some coin dealers and some of the big professional coin bulletin boards I documented their comments about tampering They were unaware that some of the most prestigious error dealers and grading certification companies had already deemed my Sacagawea coin as real and not counterfeit or tampered with So the grading companies protected My Discovery just fine, Well worth the whole process and when the Anti Counterfeiting Company showed up following me on my social media I already had the truth established years before the Slammers turned me to them for counterfeiting or tampering with United States Currency:) Comment from : @SacagaweaCoin |
Do they grade gold coins more critically than silver ones? I like your videos and learn a few things along the way Comment from : @scotts834 |
Nothing embarrassing about not knowing everything What would have been embarrassing was if you defiantly disagreed with ever slab and were whining about the cleaned/scratched grades You set a good example for the community by being humble about not being perfect Cheers Comment from : @RobKni76 |
Respected sir I have 50 years old US డాలర్ I want to sell sir Comment from : @PsAdiraju-bc4iv |

Too much jabber But overall a nice video lol 🐎🌻✌️ 👈 if you want to know ask Comment from : @murlbailer3755 |
No grade is dumb Comment from : @codymoreland4496 |
Awesome! Comment from : @SandmanCnC75 |
Seems silly to grade a coin based on all types of defects- except for a scratch Just lower the grade! As a comic book grader for CBCS Comics, all comics are graded, even restored ones Should be the same in the coin industry Comment from : @weststephan5253 |
Cool vid Story and process and result Comment from : @patfrat666 |
