2021 Jeep Wrangler JLU What’s the best on road shock for comfort? Comment from : @seadoo4life127 |
I had the Fox 20 shocks on my lifted JL Wrangler on 37” tires for the last couple of years Always felt they were too soft for on road driving I just replaced them with Rancho 9000’s last week, set the dial to the middle setting and couldn’t be happier, much less floating through the corners and just a firmer ride I still haven’t tried any other settings Comment from : @vinceblanchard1069 |
Ill cut the bullsh$ I have owned all of these shocks on my Tacoma and will tell you the best ones for the money are the Rancho 9000xl Let me tell you why Adjust-ability and build quality I have never had a problem with these shocks although you will see many bad reviews from company employees trying to get people to buy their products Save some money and just dial in your favorite settings in front and back Comment from : @johndoeman9839 |
just bought my front shocks from you guys fox 20 performance 2006 GMC ill get the rears when i recoup some of money since these things are worth a small fortune Comment from : @JacobEcret |

want to have smoother less rigid ride in f250, '21 4x4 diesel crew cab my air springs in rear helped but really want smoother ride from front suspension is rancho rs9000xl a good fit? bror fox 20? and do they work with the supersprings summo springs or is that not needed if I don't plan on adding weight to front end?brbtw I mostly drive with light loads in bed and tow a 14k max 5th wheel rv wonder if adjustables would benefit ride conditions Comment from : @robbythrasher |

Hope you can help or someone with real time using thr shocks I have newer chevrolet 2500 gas with factory ranchos Im wanting softer ride no so stiff and feel every bump Definitely feel every little thing I know its a hd truck and i love it but seats in these new trucks are so hard and i have been recently diagnosed with back problems I dont need shocks for hauling heavy loads Mainly on paved and gravel road couple times week that is always washboarded What is my best choice without spending 1000s 4600s? I keep hearing mixed reviews on fox shocks? Any help is appreciated And no not selling the hd truck Comment from : @nicklouallen4784 |
Aftermarket shocks can be good but don't last as long as Factory shocks one of their downfalls is not having a stiff sleeve to protect the rod they had those generic ugly boots that are put on with a zip tie Comment from : @jamieeisenhower1560 |
Have a 2022 gmc Sierra 3500 diesel - single rear wheel It came factory with rancho shocks What would be a good shock that softens the ride a bit but still can tow when needed Comment from : @deadlymig123 |
This is a sales pitch and not an apples to apples comparison As the host suggests, "Don't let forums or other people that you may not know drive your decision on equipment for your vehicle" You tube is one of them I say absolutely DO allow forums and other people to sway your decision since those forums are largely opinions, not driven by sales I tuned in to watch a comparison, but it turned into a bash session for Rancho Nobody watching these videos is going to have their shocks sent off to be rebuilt while their vehicles sit on jack stands for two weeks Most people watching these videos will just purchase new shocks and sell the old ones on marketplace I suppose you got through to some suckers out there Comment from : @longfoot_overland369 |

I got a jeep tj with a 35 inch JKS JSpec lift And it kinda rides like shit on regular road, it bounces like Im on wash boards, and every little bottle is very harsh and jarring The JKS Shocks suck, what can I do, what shocks will work for me? Best shock for road comfort? 2020 F250 73 gas-stock Comment from : @kevinmcdonald4604 |
Just installed a pair of Rancho 5000x on the rears of my 2019 f250, note I am still running OEM shocks for my fronts But going through the comment section I can see why people say it floats and feels like “not having a shock” it’s definitely way softer and I definitely think my bump stops are gonna be eating a lot 😂, now build quality wise out the box it makes sense for the $70-90 price point Now if you’re just saving up for some 20’s or the carli kit, Id best aim at the 4600’s from billsteins Haven’t taken them off to the fire roads yet but I know it’s already twice as softer 😂 and I feel the body roll in the rear when taking a curve But in all 1-10 give them a solid 65 definitely not disappointed they’re $100 shocks what more is there to expect ?? Comment from : @brainzyummy4574 |
