My passenger side blew today I have a 17 F250 with a 6inch BDS coil over with added shocks and my added sock on the passenger side broke today It’s hard to find the exact replacement but before they blew I loved them

Just to point out, these are old OEM against new Fox correct? Personally, I don't think they are worth it unless your doing a complete upgrade Lift with variable rate springs, larger tires, etc

That footage is savage Makes you wanna slow down on them bumps next time LOL 20mph is madness tho especially with such a heavy truck I have a very hard suspension on a sports sedan w/ 6" clearance and I do 10-15 kmh max before I scrape bumps like that That's like barely 7-10mph By the Looks of it you could take those bumps without breaking much which is awesome if you got the money to spare

From a fellow Utahn and a fox 20 on my f150 I bought the same shocks because the used truck I bought had 3 dead shocks and bad tires So I went to 4 wheel parts on red wood road and spent 3 grand I have wondered if it was necessary to buy the 20s Thank you for your time spent and the information!!!!!

How about putting some good grease on the bolts for easy installation and to prevent corrosion from forming on in the case you have to remove them again?

Not enogh suspenssion clearance between diff and stop bump for shocks to do their work With a stock suspenssion you can`t go over those bumps over 10 mph for those bumps you will need around 4 to 6 in lift and to have enough clearance for the shocks to do their job

they are great shocks for like the first 3 weeks after that they feel the same as the factory shocks that used to be on the truck DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU SPENDING $1k to buy them and have them installed Its a waste of money!!

Nice ,,, great idea on how to compress the shock to get them on , I actually have fix suspension on the front 25 with the adjustable reservoir attachment and 30 w/coilovers in the back its about 18 months now ,, your test results are correct I Freakin love them ,, I recently learned that part of the reason why, they’re so expensive is after a few years of use you can take them off completely dismantle them ,clean them up replace what needs t be replaced put them back on and there suppose to be as good as new , I will definitely be trying to learn more about that process in another year or so
