What disgraceful, confusing and unfair financial system we have in Canada for people with disabilities I am considered an intelligent albeit neurodivergent person who was once successful but I cannot understand much of it brI used to employ a number of people for many years and always paid them fully and on time even when the business was struggling and I could not pay myself The business eventually closed and I now am too sick to earn anything I get no CPP Disability I have no income but some assets from a divorce so I cannot qualify for ODSP brI am slowly eroding my savings and cashing in my modest RRSP so I will have zero pension (if I live that long) I am slowly becoming poorer and more depressed and desperate Most of my friends, former staff & customers etc still think I am a finally successful person but I have not been for many years now If you did not have depression before hearing and reading all of this information you certainly will afterwards brHow someone with a mental disability meant to survive? You can have limited healthcare support and no financial support so sooner or later you unable to afford either drugs or therapy

No benefit to us to get bothbut it is ofsuch benefit to odsp that they can cut you off both financial assistance and medical care without even a phone call warning you firstruined Christmas due to medicine withdrawal and apparently its all my fault no reinstatement till cpp completeand no help at all to fill it out

I’m on CPP disability I’m separating from my husband and I only have 2 years left with the extra amount for my daughter after this I will only be receiving $855 it’s my understanding that you receive more on ODSP disability is this true? Does this apply the same way for ( qpp) Quebec pension plane and ODSP ? If I receive money from Quebec not from Cpp and collect ODSP would they treat me the same as recipient of Cpp and ODSP?

I wasn’t aware that you can apply for both disabilities If I am approved for CPP Disability, can I use certain aspects of OFSP, such as medical expenses? Right now I have so many medications I am afraid the CPP payment would mostly go toward paying for medications Same for rent By my calculations, I would quality for the top value payment, so I know I wouldn’t get any payments from ODSP Is it possible to be approved with other factors such as supplying the medication history, or a rent receipt from the landlord?
