Another American Rare Coin mystery is the 1804 US Silver Dollar Only a few exist today The reason just might be that President Jefferson did the Louisiana Purchase from Napoleon Bonaparte--Those 1804 Dollars paid for the Purchase and those US coins quickly went into the melting pot of the French and were re-coined into much needed Silver French Francs If people cared read history, this would be intuitively obvious ;-)

If I had to choose one dream coin to own It would be the 1933 Saint gaudens gold double eagle since it's the only one that is not illegal to own but I'm happy with the current gold double eagle that I own cause of the history behind these coins It's a 1915 saint gaudens gold double eagle and it's the only one I own I just recently got a copy of Franklin Roosevelt's Executive order 6102
