It's really dumb to go around blabbing you have extremely rare gold coins that are illegal to own to the government The family had to give those coins back Comment from : @paulsteel9127 |

It makes you wonder when I have the 7 ceremonial genuine 1933 British pennies with markings of the designer on the neck and it is questionable that this is sold for £115,000 at heritage auctions fake coin that does not have any markings on the neck like B M July 28th 2016 sold when actually 6 was made for the Irish and six were made for the Scottish and for further was made for 4 Chancellors pattern patriotic demonstration and that brings it to total of 16 coins 1933 British pennies made from copper & Brass shining like orange coins not like yellowish golden like sunshine seven ceremonial British 1933 pennies that I have in my possession You forget that Hitler also was a Chancellor Comment from : @GULFRAZMAJEEDseye8eyes |

I don't think you get it yet You are obviously new to the issue What if there were 45K 33 double eagles out there? Would that surprise you? You have fallen for the game Oh, in your mind just think for a minutehhhmmmHow in the world did King Farouk get one for his collection in Egypt? DUH! When you can ponder over that one and figure it out, you will be on the right track I am here to make you smarter Best Comment from : @AlexandersLostTomb |
The majority of law abiding citizens handed in their gold after the executive order was passed Those who didn’t were just law breakers and the double eagle coins were also stolen FDR did these folks a favor and made them rare thus rich The coins should be returned to the US government for museum collections This will go to the SCOTUS and the treasury will win Comment from : @edwardhumphries205 |
Interesting story indeed! Hope trump puts the US back on the gold standard Comment from : @SilverWolverine95 |
They are not worth $80 million ,It would be simular to the 1927D double eagle of which 13 exist the same ,since more exist the price would go down Coins have been going up so who knows what they are worth into todays market maybe $10 million a piece? Or $2 million a piece, but I would think they would have a premium over the 1927D Comment from : @jmy7622 |
Wow Comment from : @johnteillbradford9379 |

Now as for the 1964-D Peace Dollar Comment from : @supersporkspank |
The government has filed another appeal to overturn the latest rulingbrbrI think the Government is correct in what they did What everyone seems to be ignoring is the fact that the coins were stolen in the first place The coins were never the Langbord's "property" It is a well established legal principle that if you come into possession of stolen property you do not become the legal owner of it Even if you didn't know it was stolen, it still is not "yours"brbrThe Government should not have to go through a forfeiture proceeding to get back property that it is the rightful owner of in the first place Comment from : @mikenephilly |
King Farukh of Egipat had it It's a documentary about this coin, I am not sure what Chanel on Fox TV Comment from : @slobodandespinic1224 |

So the government wasted money for years to track down these coins!? That itself is a crime to the people I am glad the family got them back but trust me they will not be safe as long as they own them I hope they sell them off and get the cash because the government will make sure there is an "accident" of some kind and end up with the coins Comment from : @BrianTheLog |
How much you wanna bet the government purposely damages the coins and scratches them up or defaces them out of spite having lost the case? It wouldn't surprise me Comment from : @abemunchkin1271 |
