I really want to know if his bankruptcy story is legit It is not legal for a bank whom you signed a contract with (even if it is purchased by another bank) they cannot breach that contract and force you to pay the balance immediately because they want you too They can’t do that and I don’t believe that is the full story I have heard that victim story for 20 years and it doesn’t make sense Why couldn’t he refinance? Sell the homes? Get the underwriting mortgage he always pushes people towards? Something doesn’t check out
