I worried the most the more I worked because the more I worked the more my neck and back hurt, the more I would think my health is declining, the more I would think I would have to end my career early and not be able to replace my income The more I worked the more I felt like my husband's lack of financial contribution was not only financial abuse but physical abuse I was not enough of a chihuahua and let my husband get away with being unproductive for years When I confront him on it he becomes the chihuahua The irony is that if we had a chance to talk to DR, he would probably go pit bull on my husband and tell him to get off his ass and start to bring in some income and take some of the stress off your wife

Neither partner should be broke in the relationship If someone is in their 40s and doesn't have financial assets, they're probably an addict Don't ruin your life over someone who can't get their crap together Those decisions belong to them and not the partner

I’ve taught financial planning for decades I always advise couples to keep most accounts separate It helps prevent arguments over money It also encourages spouses to be accountable for how they handle money br You marry a person, not a bank account A spouse should be a partner, not a parasite Separate accounts help prevent one spouse from abusing the other financially Spendthrifts do not make good spouses

Ramsey is always saying that financial disagreements are one of the top reasons for divorce It really makes you think about how important it is to be on the same page, especially when it comes to big stuff like investments and retirement planning

Totally agree as a married woman with two grown children with my husband Women we have to be strong to not put more stress onto our husband Build him up and avoid the arguments Your husband will do far better financially when you support him Tough times will come so be ready for those times Pray together and build him up You won't believe how you, the wife can turn this problem around

I'm a woman and I'm not the saver in the relationship My bf pays the majority of the bills, but if I mess up or make a financial mistake, I end having to ask him to help me pay a bill or two and he acts like he got stabbed in the back

i get it financially struggles are hard but not impossible, i just dont like to give the guy the benefit or begin the head of the family sometimes the woman is the one who works more and earn more, goes to school, have three jobs, still have time for the guy or husband and thats not appreciate even the woman has treated less than a man… 😢

My wife and I got married on paper and now we are thinking it was the biggest mistake we made I lost a lucrative career in oil and gas and now we want to have children and she wants to go back to school but make just too much to qualify for medicaid or any other type of benefits We are thinking about a "paper" divorce just to reap some of the anti- christian/marriage laws that the recent marxist regimes have passed Anyone have experience in this?

When you want to leave but dont have the money to do it that should be part of an emergency fund to help the spouse if the relationship goes left noone would actually do it, but i think staying in a relationship that is struggling financially, is a really bad place to reside
