NEVER BOOK WITH CELEBRITY or Royal Caribbean! Why??? Because they put you in a PENALTY PERIOD should you have to cancel for the loss of a loved one! Yes they refund your taxes, but the hundreds of dollars in your booking, KISS THAT GOODBYE!!!!! NEVER SAIL WITH SUCH A MONEY HUNGRY Company!!!!!!!! Comment from : @84GordonShumway |

❤ Great review! Thanks! Comment from : @gingerwong1892 |
Celebrity has better food and better service Comment from : @kennic82 |
When is American spring break I'd like to avoid that, and thank you for the video and information ❤ Comment from : @henrylopez9532 |
Why did I think this was David Venable the host from QVC? When he said Matt I had to go check out other videos to see what he looked like LOL Comment from : @katrinabebee766 |
I booked a Celebrity cruise I paid more to have an adult experience and had to save for a year, going without casual luxuries just to skrimp (scrimp?) to pay it off If there is a screaming toddler next to me while I am trying to enjoy my dinner, I know that I will cry and meltdown My kids are grown I'm over the screaming toddlers and and younger kids running and twirling all around me I think it's inconsiderate to take young children on a cruise not suited for them A whole dining room full of people have to suffer because of one unhappy toddler I know that I sound like Cruella DeVille, but these are my honest thoughts on the subject I want a peaceful experience for my hard earned vacation time And I have paid dearly for it 💰 💰 💰 🤷🏽♀️ Comment from : @melaniehawkins4896 |

Please review the Celebrity Beyond Comment from : @jesusfreak7777 |
Very bad cheapskate now on celebrity Only the buffet open for lunches and the restaurant closes at 9 am for breakfast Zero lectures and very low class entertainment Comment from : @kazaabitboll2026 |
My first cruise was Mariner too Will definitely try Celebrity next time Comment from : @DoughBoy2024 |
I really enjoyed the video! It's a video from a year ago, and I hope it's the same now I have a few questions I was on the Royal Caribbean Symphony last time I heard that Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean are from the same company, and I'm worried that the menu and buffet will not be the same What did you think? The second Celebrity ship I'm going to ride is the 12-ton Reflection, which is one-half smaller than the Symphony This seems to be the case with most celebration cruises, so is it okay to not worry about the ship shaking too much? Lastly, I use the gym on my ship every day, and the video doesn't show the gym introduction, is it on board? Thank you Comment from : @jooclair2988 |
Beware of Celebrity Spa Scams We won the $250 "gift certificate" in the raffle drawingor so the whole crowd believed but the truth is what they gave us was not a "gift certificate" it was actually a coupon for $250 off on a $125000 facial!!! Don't waste your time going to the so-called give-aways Comment from : @FloridaLivingFun |
1:06 somebody is getting a good grab Comment from : @shashisonu9 |
Exactly the information we were looking for to a T! Great job, Allie, thanks! Thanks Matt! Comment from : @HowWeCruise |
Matt, thanks for making this video We've been somewhat loyal to RCL but have heard such wonderful things from our friends about Celebrity so we booked a cruise on Silhouette next month (Dec) We have young adult children and have been on Oasis twice and Independence once It was fun experiencing those ships with them However, my husband and I are now looking forward to enjoying the different crowd and atmosphere that Celebrity attracts Appreciate all of your wisdom and knowledge Thanks again for everything you do! Happy Cruising! Comment from : @elenamarie272 |
Those families are the same ones that take the kids to the winery to run around and play while they hangout and drink wine Comment from : @marksimmons7721 |
I was a little worried by one of Matt's reviews He said the food is better on Celebrity, but the live music and entertainment is better on Royal He must have been comparing Oasis class which is understandable Thank you for showing us the live music and entertainment is good on the Silhouette We are thinking about giving Celebrity a try Loyal to Royal Comment from : @taraenid7434 |
I kept waiting for a pause or even a few seconds of you not talking Comment from : @CWatters |
Yum that drink you “clinked” together looked good What was it ? Comment from : @FLgurl100 |
I like celebrity better no kids Comment from : @Warcloud1980 |
My problem with RCL: all in $US dollars Very expensive drinks packages, horrid 18 gratuities (if no package) and very expensive shore excursions The food was decent The constant upselling of anything and everything extra gets annoying Comment from : @elscruffomcscruffy8371 |
I have been on both of these and take my advice and you’ll thank me later There is not much more on royal and the service is much worse, food is horrific, it is not even close to as nice, the ships are older and most do the time they are dirty I have had 0 problems on celebrity which actually owns royal Caribbean if you didn’t know They are overall much better I forgot to mention the entertainment was the worst on royal and they are not friendly one bit compared to celebrity Comment from : @bypassings2745 |
FIRST I'd like to say both offer a wonderful cruise experience Celebrity offers stellar service and knows how to cater to people with perfect etiquette When we cruised many years ago on the millimeum ship the crew treated my 8 yr old and 11 year old like prince and princess They called my son master john and always acknowledged them by name They know how to make people feel like royalty for a week, lol Rcl also had great service the large ships are more kid friendly, like oasis sip and allure if the seas have lots to do for kids to enjoy and young adults alsoi love both ❤️ Comment from : @donnapee8402 |
screaming kids sounds like a terrible dinner Comment from : @Mike-cb7gt |
So you are supposedly comparing the 2 cruises yet you into the video 4:20 minutes before you do anything other than restating and restating the introduction You really need to think about editing Comment from : @cardboy151 |
This might be great for my wife and I, our son would be bored to death Comment from : @Em_Dee_Aitch |
Just got off RC’s Symphony of the Seas and have been on multiple cruises on both lines We are looking at the Silhouette for a cruise next year I was worried that maybe the entertainment wouldn’t stack up with the Symphony but this video has calmed my fears The Silhoette is now the leader out of the gate for next years cruising adventure Thank you! Comment from : @guitarpt62 |
Celebrity is a branch of Royal Caribbean Same company! Comment from : @leticialindo3658 |
Great video As someone who doesn’t have kids and has only cruised with Royal Caribbean and Norwegian, I’m really in a cruise that caters to my demographic Will definitely look into Celebrity Comment from : @robd7934 |
I’m curious why you chose to go on a spring break cruise when you don’t have kids I would assume spring break cruises are predominantly families? Comment from : @dons8764 |
Going on a Celebrity cruise for the first time in July so this video helps in setting some expectation After I booked, I notice there isn’t any water slide, wall climbing, bumper car, etc on this cruise so I hope we won’t feel too bored Look forward to the amazing food that I have been hearing about Comment from : @ritalee8781 |
Did you video the places early in the Morning? I don't see much people Comment from : @christinalove1309 |
Celebrity is a solid cruise line through and through Having sailed on Carnival, Royal, and Princess many times, I always come back to Celebrity Enjoybr Comment from : @ReneBuret |
You are such a sell out Really Every post is how great RC is and it’s just not true Wow I can’t trust you anymore So the front desk always helps you They give money back when there wrong I haven’t heard of one refund ever there There isn’t all heaven on this cruise line no matter what ship and what cruise Not everything is perfect every time but I have noticed since you have your head so up there azz you can’t see clearly Glad you have all the money in the world to go it I bet they pay for all your cruises Good sales But not for the people Comment from : @CUTravel1st |
The reason you had so many annoying kids, is BECAUSE you chose a 1 Cheap 2 Spring Break cruise Cheap cruises will have more families with kids because of the low price Spring Break, duh, kids are out of school brGo on a 9 or 14 day cruise, you’ll find few, if any kids, which is AWESOME!!! Comment from : @robk1310 |
I recommend Disney Cruise too! I’ve gone on many (and sorta outgrown them) but they are a lot of fun and VERY clean! They gave us sanitizing wipes before every dinner! Comment from : @sophiacatlover2060 |
I see lots of people that look younger than 62… maybe close to 20s? Comment from : @sophiacatlover2060 |
My hubby and I's 5th cruise is with Celebrity That's in 20 days, can't wait! We're not drinkers and partygoers, so we stay away from Carnival and I think Celebrity is the right one for us based on this review :) Royal Caribbean is also great, sailed with it once so far, but certainly not the last We've been to Costa twice, entertainment is great but food is so-so As for Aida, it's the opposite Great food but entertainment was so-so Comment from : @izzyrov5814 |
Do Not Cruise with Celebrity Cruises! They false advertise and misrepresent their all inclusive packages! Comment from : @heathernicole9096 |
Always have an extremely positive experience sailing on Celebrity So far have sailed on Millennium twice, Equinox (Aqua Class) once, and now Reflection (Aqua Class) for the first time, departing on 01/06/2024 Comment from : @jackf7415 |
This sounds amazing and right up my alley at this point in my life Comment from : @scorejason |
Definitely hands down Royal Caribbean all day!! ❤ I will always pick Royal Caribbean Comment from : @symplelife3760 |
We just did our first cruise with royal and we wont be going back Our twins are 4, the food on royal is terrible compared to norwegian, its to crowded, loud brIts really sad to hear the disdain for children in your voice, especially on this channel brChildren are a blessing from the Lord Sadly a lot of problems today is no one parents their children anymore They park them infront of the tv Our children our farm kids, we expect good behavior and hard work Comment from : @Mountain_farms |
DJ style club music sounds "old" to me The live music that caters to a chronologically older crowd sounds much more "youthful" IMO Comment from : @therationalpiper7428 |
My wife and I were able to experience both a short and a longer Celebrity cruise in 2014 when we cruised back to back a 5 day Caribbean cruise, followed by an Atlantic cruise, back to Europe The short one was a real party trip, many young passengers and a lot of partying The demographic on the Atlantic crossing was much older and the atmosphere on bord was much calmer More like an elders house ;-) But we loved it all! Comment from : @pietschreuder5047 |
We’ve sailed Celebrity three times when our kids were babies As our kids got older we divided to try RC so Our last two cruises were on the Royal Caribian Allure and Oasis The food on Oasis and Allure was atrocious compared to any of our Celebrity cruises The Oasis last June was so crazy packed that it was a job within itself just trying to watch out for each of our kids going in all different directions From the chaos at the pool to the subpar food we said no more so we booked Celebrity Ascent for February vacation Our kids are 11 and 9 and I’m sure they’ll have a blast Comment from : @pjp7259 |
Dude, there ain’t no cheap Celebrity cruises… Comment from : @Driver2616 |
The reason there was more kids and younger couples on your cruise is due to being spring break and a shorter cruise Just like Royal, the shorter the cruise, the younger the crowd will be Longer cruises will be an older crowd Comment from : @michaellewis7048 |
I think Spring Break probably really skewed the Demographics I did Ruby Princess last spring break and the demographics were very similar to a RCL cruise But people I talked to on a B2B2B had said the week before there had been just a handful of kids Comment from : @osuzorba |
I have just returned from a celebrity beyond cruise Everything was fantastic, the staff the food, entertainment and the staterooms were a very good size This was my first cruise with celebrity, it certainly won’t be my last 👍🤗 Comment from : @janet3784 |
The age demographic is most certainly dependent on the length of the cruise and the time of year Anything over 7 days will almost automatically have an older demographic Spring Break and holidays will also be quite a bit younger in general Comment from : @jazzyrick |
You did a 4 day, Carabean cruise not a cheap cruisebr4 days not worth doing Comment from : @mea3665 |
Will royal Caribbean give us credit on crown and anchor if we sail celebrity Comment from : @mweihanli9613 |
Great review ⭐️ Comment from : @gimmewaves8544 |
Went on Celebrity Equinox in mid-august and it was amazing! The food and the service seemed better than what I've come to expect from RC Would definitely recommend Celebrity Cruise Comment from : @surfstarcc1 |
RCL or Crlebrity the money goes in the same deep pockets, anyways, i love cruising and have done Alaska back to back on Radiance! 🥰❤️👍 Comment from : @marykay8587 |
My daughter and son in law don’t recommend Celebrity cruises Comment from : @vickirobinette1452 |
Interesting pointers Comment from : @MajorAddiction |
A shorter CHEAP cruise over spring break is going to have many children and families Comment from : @KMA66 |
After watching I may give them a try I’m loyal to Royal ❤ Comment from : @jacquelinestewart5550 |
“Cheap” means shoddy “Inexpensive” is a better word Comment from : @infectdiseaseepidemiology2599 |
When Celebrity gives at least some loyalty points for RC loyalty customers, I will sail with them Otherwise, I have to save my rare vacation sailings for the one that I have built up my status with I mean, they are the same group, so even if they gave half the points you would earn on a RC sail, why not reward for staying in the family? Comment from : @williamm1258 |
The first day is alot to take in for first tme cruisers We still feel outta place for certain shows on the ships We r starting to feel old Haha Comment from : @stevesmith-sp8xv |
The lack of children was probably due to the destination and time of year Comment from : @kevinkronewitter3374 |
Are ships on Celebrity less crowded in general than Royal ships? Comment from : @angrybeaver6667 |
the last celebrity cruise we went on, the whole crew were grumpy for the first 2 days i'd try the line again though Comment from : @Lozenhimer |
We prefer Celebrity if it is just my husband and I Royal is great for families - especially multi-gen But there is no comparison to the food and the overall experience on Celebrity Comment from : @aliciataylor2478 |
Amazing Comment from : @Husodofamily |
would really love it if Celebrity and Royal cruise points helped on status For example, I went on a Celebrity 7 day last summerand right now I am 7 points away from Diamond Status on Royalkicking myself for jumping over to try it Our plan is after we hit Diamond to jump back over to Celebrity and try to achieve the next tier their before coming back to Royal Comment from : @staceyg |
I genuinely hope the high number of kids was an anomaly, because pre-pandemic the best thing about Celebrity was the lack of kids Comment from : @NerdsTravels |
Love Oasis Class and love Edge and the Equinox We will continue to cruise both…and dabble in others We just disembarked the Silver Origin, unfortunately my wife loved it too 😂 We will try Carnival this fall Comment from : @joeo7693 |
The solarium is an adults only area, that's why there's plenty of sitting People with kids or the ones that like loud music by the pool, don't like being there Comment from : @blucolife |
We're doing our first Celebrity cruise in February on the Apex Had a great cruise on the Allure OTS last February, it will be fun to compare😂 Comment from : @raxterwot7940 |
yes, but did you "chill"????:) Comment from : @craigpendleton4912 |
We have been on Royal Carribean with family (young adults) and found it good for activities When we travel by ourselves, we much prefer Celebrity We love the food, the service and the overall ambiance However, our first cruise on the new class is this summer We have 6 cruises booked over the next 2 years with 5 being Celebrity 1 Royal Carribean because Celebrity does not d0 the coast of Norway all the way to the Artic Circle Comment from : @markberteit5237 |
IMO celebrity was great, we were on Silhouette also and Mariner of the Seas No comparison celebrating was better than anything on RCLFood Entertainment, ship layout, casino etc Comment from : @paulschmidt243 |
I look forward to sailing on Celebrity one day I wish we could book Celebrity while on RC Thanks for your review! 😊 Comment from : @lisafowler7477 |
Love Celebrity Comment from : @BrianAlt |
We did one Med Celebrity cruise and enjoyed the port heavy voyage But have been loyal to royal and don’t know if we want to work so hard to raise our level on Celebrity Wish Royal would do some kind of allowance to raise your level based on your status on Royal Comment from : @denisekassab8847 |
My wife and I are NCL loyal but so far we have traveled on their smaller ships This November will be our first time on their newer larger ships After watching this video I feel the next time we travel it will be with Celebrity Comment from : @chrislettenmaier6822 |
does our diamond plus status perks transfer to Celebrity? Comment from : @toomaskleine |
I thank your husband for his service to our country Comment from : @JoeFrohlich |
Great info, I’m emerald with RCL been thinking about doing a Celebrity cruise 👍🏾 Comment from : @ainsleyhilton22 |
