Dave is assuming a 12 interest rate here Almost no one sees that high a rate over any set 15 year period Assuming 8, would be $350,000 which is much more likely Comment from : @csmatthews1000 |

For any Christians here:br1 Timothy 5:4 says, "But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of God" brExplanation:brThis verse instructs children to show piety and respect to their parents and grandparents by caring for them It's a duty to take care of parents when they're unable to care for themselves This pleases God br1 Timothy 5:8brIf anyone fails to provide for his relatives, and especially for those of his own family, he has disowned the faith [by failing to accompany it with fruits] and is worse than an unbeliever [who performs his obligation in these matters]brbrDave Ramsey is not Jesus Comment from : @weichmtazus4434 |

My original retirement plan was to retire at 62, work part-time, and save money However, high prices for everything have severely affected my plan I'm concerned if people who went through the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am having now The stock market is worrying me as my income has decreased, and I fear I won't have enough savings for retirement since I can't contribute as much as before Comment from : @alexstevenm6414 |

I plead with people to PLEASE plan for your retirement That means housing money, groceries money, medication money, possible surgery money, pay and arrange funeral plans for yourselves, so none of this is put on the backs of your children Its SO unfair to basically become a WHOLE dependent in your already struggling child(ren) Im always so stressed over my parents just entering their 60s Theyre so bad with money, especially my stepmom, whom shops for nonsense, as her "therapy" Or they drink I cry to my fiance at times, because is kids shouldn't have to stress and worry about our parents that bad We even moved out of state, for a lower cost of living and theyre not willing to do that So please, if you really love your children, although we'll still care for you as our parents, dont become such a financial burden on us With todays prices on every single thing, you as parents need to plan accordingly Living with your child, isnt the burden Its the added expenses, because you didnt plan Comment from : @JSP-G |
