Love this! I've a pension, 401k, 457, and a whole life ins policy that I contribute $10,000 a year and so far have a 8 return on the ins policy How do I include this in the spreadsheet? Also, regarding Current Annual Salary, should I enter total before 401k contributions etc? When I entered the taxable amount (line 1 on my W2) the numbers didn't look correct What should I enter for this? Thank you so much for uploading this!

How does your pv formula in h8 calculate the pmt for the inflation graduating income? Does the math for rate parameter cover that? I don't really get the math myself, I just use the built in formulasbrI made a sheet to calculate savings needed based off desired income and I needed a table for NPV but to do it in reverse I need a completely different mathematical formula

Thanks for this great tool Melisa! One question, how did you adjust for Marginal/Effective rate taxes? You mention "Pre-Tax" when putting in "Salary during retirement", but how does model handle Fed and State taxes? I know this varies immensely for everyone, but just curious if I need to account for taxes myself or it's baked in to tool somehow? Thanks again!
