I have two tp link be550 with a wired backhaul All of my rooms have wired internet but phones and laptops and some smart devices are far away from the first router so using easymesh and a wired backhaul has given me incredible coverage Comment from : @ericimi |

how do I know which routers are compatible to my router? Comment from : @MrWatermelon-69 |

So if i buy a mesh set up do i connect them to my original router? Or remove my original router and just use the 2 or 3 mesh system? Also can you hard wire some units to a mess unit and wi-fi others? Comment from : @skydancerforever |

This video is very informative! I'm about to move into a 3 story townhome Square footage is only 1400, but since it's 3 stories, I'm worried about dead zones with a traditional router But I'm also a huge gamer, so I want low latencyis this feasible with a mesh system? I know you said the mesh systems can be slower and therefore not ideal for gaming Comment from : @SpecificallyKate |

Woah we got the same name lol Comment from : @Oh-Jeez |

Thank you for a valuable info! Comment from : @vanijatkosolomichev9452 |

Can you buy a mesh system and connect your existing router (which would be the primary node) to that mesh system? Comment from : @Zenithity |

1600sq ft house Should I use a router or mesh ? Unfortunately the main Node or Router will be on one end of the house and not centrally located I hope that helps Ive had mesh in the past and its worked alright At the moment we're using the Cable/Router combo from our internet provider as we sent back our mesh unit due to having to pay 899 per month for them We'd rather just buy our own Comment from : @StraightKilla369 |

I heard something bad about TP-Link possibly being banned from the US It is a shame too since my AX3000 Pro has been extremely reliable By that I mean I never have to power cycle or reset it, EVER I know it is not the only reliable brand I am just looking to see what other brands or specific models are also really reliable like this It turns out that TP-Links have a lot of security holes I just want to find a new brand to go with just incase this happens and we can't get TP-Link devices anymore Comment from : @charleshines2142 |

Tp link is trash The xe75 pro is the worse I had to return it Comment from : @brownboi853 |
|
I have been using both but i would say ease of Use and Better coverage for 3 Story Home the Mesh TP link M4 and above is the best and if you really need ethernet ports get an extender and thats solved … single routers at times drop in speed and signal when you have heavy walls beyond 1’ feet thus mesh is the way to go each floor is independent and you can check stats, monthly reports, etc all through your phone Comment from : @RICHIE11420 |
|
Mesh systems should only be used as a last resort The best solution most of the time is wired access points Comment from : @afrojojo9475 |
|
Mesh all day long Comment from : @beepover |
|
What about having both? Comment from : @shrimp_bearilyo9971 |

Great video I’ve had dead spots in my large 3 story home And i tried many different things to make it better and nothing works I’ll be trying a mesh system next with hopes of finally getting WiFi signal to my kitchen 🥺 Comment from : @Arturo-hc9pl |

I have a Deco 50X and the software has been a pain I have trouble with the password and password reset I can't access the router for settings Comment from : @quake2u |

you stated that mesh routing speed can be slower than tradtional router speed if 2 compatible traditional routers were to function in mesh mode, would the transmission speed still be faster than mesh routers, or become equal to each other? thanks! Comment from : @gdc6852 |

You need to be really careful with mesh setups such as netgears Orbi products I have owned three different ones even including their top-of-the-line $2,000 four satellite setupbrbrI kept getting complaints from the kids about poor wifi, so I kept upgrading I even had the satellites hard wired and still could not get decent wifi brbrMy home has 3 levels Basement, first floor and bedrooms on tne second floor I had the main unit in the basement (right smack in the middle of the house The second satellite was in the garage about 30 feet from the center of the house Third was in the loft opposite side of the house and the gourth in the attic 3x floors above the on3 in the basementbrbrI spent months with netgears tech support (I paid for the annual tech support) The issue I had was that the devices would all connect to the basement unit even when that meant there was literally no wifi signal In other words devices would bypass the orbi satellites they were next to and only connect to the main unit in the basementbrbrNetgear wanted to write a custom firmware for my system, and I just said no and told them I wanted my money back brbrI bought a ubiquity router and 4x access points It was cheaper than the orbi and runs circles around it Comment from : @thebigdoghimself |

I have a home office detached from the main house 30 yards out back, would the mesh setup work that far? Comment from : @DJLOUIE1000 |

This was a great video and I had a very specific question if you don’t mind answering it? I have 3 Asus Wi-Fi six rogue routers throughout my home and I’m thinking about replacing one of the routers with the Wi-fi 7 It would be the router that’s plugged directly into my modem that delivers 2 GHz My question is around how the Wi-Fi six routers or nodes in this case would work with the Wi-Fi seven router? Hello great video! I was wondering do you think it would be worth it upgrading to the WiFi 7 BE19000 tp link over the ace300 WiFi 6e? I have a computer with which I tend to play games that would be able to use the WiFi 7 but I’m still unsure if I will see a difference in 6ghz?brDo you see a difference in coverage between WiFi 6e and 7 ?brbr Thank you for the help, Comment from : @marcsvlogs1717 |
