As soon as you said good and boss in the same sentence all credibility went out the window BOSS is trash, everything they make is trash I worked at a car audio place and customers always wanted to bring their own radios for us to install instead of buying what we recommended (usually some BOSS they got on Amazon) We probably had 10 radios that didn't work, brand new right out of the box If they did work enough to be installed they never lasted a year before the customer would come in the shop mad because their radio stopped working I would confidently buy or sell anything from jvc, Kenwood, and pioneer We rarely had any issues with them, and if we did they would replace the radio immediately, no questions asked Comment from : @nicka52589 |

Question about the Alpine Since it has a pretty extensive eq/dsp how would the head unit built in crossovers compare to say a standalone amplifier/dsp ? Really love your reviews However, after watching them I'm torn between the Alpine iLX-507 and Kenwood DMX 8709S, and if it's really worth going up to the Kenwood DMX 958xr I'd consider it I use an Apple phone, and need the upgrade in order to use Carplay, install one rear camera, have access to Sirius, HD radio, Navigation, and possibly play Youtube music videos once in awhile I'd appreciate it if you would tell me what you would do considering these choices, or if you think there is something better that I haven't considered The car is a 2011 Mercedes SLK 300 and the budget just for the stereo is between $500 to $850, thank you for your help Comment from : @amblanco64 |
