It is all a matter of labels We've gone from Negro, Colored, Black, African American, and now Black has resurfaced, and it's stronger than ever, with the Black Lives Matter I went along with the term Black the first time, but not again I'm not Black I'm a Brown Skin Person There are Brown skin People all over the world, India, Pakistan, etc The entire world is comprised of people with different complexions People are lighter and darker than other people Nobody is Black or White For the moment I'll use the term African American You can be African American and be any completion Within my own Family, there are members who are the same completion as IE White People to members who are Dark Brown Skin That's the way it was all my life I never thought anything about it Everybody in the world is a person of color If you're not invisible you have to have color I've had it, with the color assignments given to different ethnic groups in this country Hispanic citizens are referred to as Brown People Again some are Brown Skin like me and some are light skin I'm American I can be called by my name In my conversations, I never mention ethnicity, unless it has something to do with the point of the conversation If I mention a public sports, show business, or political person, either you've heard of the person, or you haven't I am African American as opposed to European American

African American means blacks born in America Black means blacks who are jamaican, an African country, etc, those 2 black guys who stood with the black gloves they’re not African American they’re Cubans and yes there are blacks in Cuba
