The African booty scratcher thing gets me I’ve never been called that but I know people who have Just yesterday my sister told me about how in her school one AA girl told this African girl “get the fuck away from me, you’re just an African booty scratcher” in the hallway for everyone to hear The African girl felt so embarrassed It’s honestly sad that this is still being used as an insult brbrIve been made fun of mostly by AAs in middle school and high school The weird thing is that bc of this I was more open to befriending white ppl before I befriended an AA The AA girls always gave me shade all the way through high school Even though I didn’t communicate with them They though I was stuck up because of the way I carried myself I didn’t wear revealing clothing, was always studying, and didn’t party or drink or smoke, and kept to myself My first and only AA friend I’ve made is in college I’m sure I would’ve made more in high school and middle school if the girls didn’t just hate me for no reason
