I bought my 05 ZX6R brand new as my first bike in true squid fashion It spoiled me I haven't rode many bikes that make me feel like that bike The RC51 is one of them Those things are high strung, you know you are on something serious

I have a '91 Suzuki DR 650RS, '05 Honda HORNET S 600, '97 Yamaha YZF 750R and a '05 BMW K1200GT The first 3 are carbs and run PERFECT! why this fear for carbs?? I dear you to repair an injection system on any motorcycle to see how "easy" and especially "cheap" it is Yet the last one is DRZ 400 with carb how this is ok and others are not? It's a ton of bias in your opinion and I loose my time watching you!

Most people into bikes nowadays are simply basically financially way better off than my generation Car owners same 60 to 90s working class really knew how to service ,repair and maintain bikes and cars simply by necessity Lenders were much tougher also😊

Can't think of any "used market" like used bikes - they have been babied by their owners, kept inside, with low milage on amazingly reliable engines - and available at a fraction of the price of a new bike Amazing deals out there Why buy new?

Fz6 specs look wrong: if top HP is at 12000 RPM, there is no way top torque is so low at 6400 Other sites say top torque is at 10000 And you said it made 110 HP and 52 ft/lb (96 and 63 in the picture) Great bike I rode a naked version for a couple of weeks Very fun engine, handles really well, like a bicycle, big 19-liter tank and sounds sweet Bad on the highway because it screams in too high a pitch at highway speeds and the headlight is bad at lighting the waybrbrAlso, second bike picture in CBR600F4i section is just a CBR600RR, I don't know if it's intentional

I get the point about carbs but in the Uk I have found you can get some really good deals because people are apprehensive to deal with them My first bike was a 1998 fazer and I feel when the injected bikes get older they will have more electrical demons so it will become a case of pick which you are more comfortable working on

I had an 07 and a 2010 FZ6 I put 40k and 60k on them and it is one of my favorite bikes The only thing that they needed was a fully adjustable suspension Of course they wanted to keep in budget I kind of miss owning those bikes

98-05 Kawasaki zrx1100 and 1200r Indestructible torque filled engines Reliable to a fault I've had my box stock 05 for 19 years and have never had the carbs touched Runs out as smoothly as any fuel injected bike I've owned Basic maintenance and non-ethanol fuel and they run forever They can be had for good prices

SV650 is carb from 1999 to 2005 Fuel inject from 2006 to today i have a 2000 for years, it's a realy good bike But S model a bit difficult for long travel

In my area it's pretty hard to find decently priced used bikes But the ones I can find are usually from late 90's early 2000's so stuff like the bandit 600 and 1200 or old SV650s etc Might have to go and give one a try

Yam, you got the years wrong on the SV 650 The first generation (carburated) was from '99-'02 The fuel injected seconds generation was from '03-'08

RC 51 is a complicated mess It has cooling and electrical issues It is good looking and quick with a snappy, thumping motor It takes away from Honda's normally reliable reputation, which kind of hurts
