@BruceP
You are creating static potential with your vacuum pulling air across the copper
Comment from : @BruceP

@ravenkarunanayake2550
This was the only video I could find that shows the actual speed of the machine, thank you!
Comment from : @ravenkarunanayake2550

@MrJackson66
Will this cnc be able to use diamond bits to engrave on slabs of quartz, like a cut up geode ?
Comment from : @MrJackson66

@daitedve1984
Not sure what this means "if you're beginner, you can buy" - sounds so stupid like "if you're beginner, you can buy broken shovel" WHAT FOR? I buy a machine not for my personal status, but DO THE JOB If job is done horrible way, NOBODY this machine suits! It's just сr@р, avoid it at any cost
Comment from : @daitedve1984

@cvspvr
Why the fuck are they using 100 year old Bakelite?
Comment from : @cvspvr

@Builtbypete
For the money, seems to be worth it
Comment from : @Builtbypete

@indymark4064
You sound like an American, so talk like one Dump the mm, and use SAE That's how we communicate here! mm doesn't mean diddly
Comment from : @indymark4064

@devonhansen1831
Have you been saying "granite" this whole time? It's "granted" You're not milling a bunch of rocks!
Comment from : @devonhansen1831

@Richardlevilewis
That looks more like 5/8 of a corgi
Comment from : @Richardlevilewis

@Hammersmash3dFace
Nice little, inexpensive device Reminds me of my beginnings in 3D printing with the Anet A8 I learned a lot and was able to upgrade it well The first thing that comes to mind is engraving in plastic or milling out parts
Comment from : @Hammersmash3dFace

@clutions
Thank you! 8 decades under my belt and I wanted to see what this CNC thing was all about I think something like this is just what the doctor ordered Despite the cons and this being more of a toy for me I think the price level for a "toy" is about right PS I rather patient so that is not a con Thanks again for a very good eye opener!
Comment from : @clutions

@henricoderre
Good overall review
Comment from : @henricoderre

@domagojgotic4421
this was like the most informativne non-boring review i've watched about anything on youtube since 2007
Comment from : @domagojgotic4421

@CptDadBod
What’s a good solid cnc for making wooden dice as a beginner?
Comment from : @CptDadBod

@HippieMagic
I feel like this would probably work perfect for what I would like to actually do I’m trying to find an easy way to mill small lures out of balsa or basswood
Comment from : @HippieMagic

@psychedelic-guitar-art

Comment from : @psychedelic-guitar-art

@gergelysinko5093
I have a similar CNC machine and I can use it to mill out PCBs with it without much of a problem, though I'm not using V-heads but 06mm and 10mm round heads
Comment from : @gergelysinko5093

@argentosebastian
I'm looking for a cheap CNC to machine small carbon fiber sheets This machine isn't going to make it, right?
Comment from : @argentosebastian

@Rick-w2o
4 flute end mills on plastic and wood? huh?
Comment from : @Rick-w2o

@seaeyeare
yo i know this vid is from 2023 but im looking to get into the hobby maybe cut wood puzzles using bass wood or something would this machine be a good option for that?
Comment from : @seaeyeare

@quirin5061
Just bought one to see if it works for precision emboss leather with names and images I don't think it needs to have a lot of power in order to do the job so im hoping to get a decent low cost solution through this but we'll see
Comment from : @quirin5061

@leebuck8532
I'm ann experienced machinist and have papers, I am 5hinking about getting this just to engrave light metal Good enough to engrave sterling silver trinkets?
Comment from : @leebuck8532

@AckzaTV
mine is still in its box lol but i have just been too busy, but seeing it all assembled there really makes me wanna build mine, like uii have a christmas present waiting for me I have a wooden cabinet i have for it ima line with foil, and wanna make wood and metal stuff with it like lil keychains out of recycle scrap metal i found
Comment from : @AckzaTV

@johnmorrison3465
do you think this would be a good choice for small projects -- mostly etching inlay grooves in basswood?
Comment from : @johnmorrison3465

@josegarfias2852
Tell us about the software and how to use it properly
Comment from : @josegarfias2852

@sbennettyt
If you cut plastic or plexiglass squirt window cleaner or 409 on the bit as it cuts to prevent it gumming up Messy but it gives good results
Comment from : @sbennettyt

@kawi-cory1482
i think itskinda insane that i do actually understand the cheeseburger and corgy metric
Comment from : @kawi-cory1482

@jberringer1720
If you're thinking about upgrading the optical guides good luck - none of the stock hole placements lend themselves to a linear rail upgrade you can however, mill g10 with this thing out of the box (800mm/s, 3125mm single flute endmill, 1mm DOC) and make new x towers that give a little more flexibility in rail choices!
Comment from : @jberringer1720

@Serenityindailylife
You will get collision errors if you connect both Its because they arent using a router for the bosrd, they are just hard wiring it
Comment from : @Serenityindailylife

@UltimatePerfection
Can it drill/cut PCBs? I am thinking of getting into PCB making and I need a cheap CNC machine to drill/cut etched ones I am not concerned about the size since PCBs I'd be making will be small anyway
Comment from : @UltimatePerfection

@KooshiesElectronics
After watching, You may have gotten the static shock from the vacuum! I have destroyed several electronics due to the static buildup in the plastic end of a vacuum hose
Comment from : @KooshiesElectronics

@danielu1763
Do you accept payment for negative reviews?
Comment from : @danielu1763

@jeffchisamore1556
This is an established cheap cnc It just needs lower speeds and feeds I've had one for years that did not have these issues
Comment from : @jeffchisamore1556

@erwinvb70
You really should have tested 3d relief carving on this machine
Comment from : @erwinvb70

@maaah_mal9767
You got my subscription with your cheeseburger conversion! So glad I saw that, made my day :D
Comment from : @maaah_mal9767

@Belnick6666
ikea have 300 pages? I thought they won a green award or something? they get that even if they send so much paper in every order?
Comment from : @Belnick6666

@o4saken1
He got me with the cheeseburger units lmao
Comment from : @o4saken1

@gailjohnson3544
What is the largest size wood it can cut
Comment from : @gailjohnson3544

@budwittman4907
imho, the 3018 with a laser attached is the best machine for norton white tiles
Comment from : @budwittman4907

@bullygram
You should try the FR1 Pcb’s instead of FR4 pcb, the FR4 gives lot of stress for the spindle! brIf you have a heavy duty spindle you can go for a FR4
Comment from : @bullygram

@DThunder85
Why does your logo look like Shop Nation's logo?
Comment from : @DThunder85

@arlineastman
I am a 100 disabled vet and do not make a ton of money and would like to buy a cnc Do you know of any of that that are $500 to $1000? Thanks
Comment from : @arlineastman

@NOFx420x
Had you thought about adding limit switches to auto home ? Maybe laser ? My biggest problem is homing and I currently have the laser on mine
Comment from : @NOFx420x

@milenkomilekic
Thank you for clear review I have just bought this model and would be using it as a learning tool (I am novice in CNC programing) Would you be able to direct me to some guidance how to generate the input file coded instructions as a first project I would like to use the machine to engrave various shapes in to the wooden plate Thanks in advance
Comment from : @milenkomilekic

@claydumaw
I used one of these little CNC machines to create a replica of a Jumanji board They can be pretty handy if you know what you're doing

@joepeanut6827
I bought a Vevor Tig welder, 250 $ I now have a 250$ boat anchor, because there are NO places that sell the consumables to fit it Vevor doesn't, no welding shops in my area sell them Harbor Fright doesn't So PLEASE Be carful before you buy ANYTHING from Vevor Make SHURE You can get the parts or tools to fit what ever you buy from them My Advice is, Just Don't take the chance
Comment from : @joepeanut6827

Comment from : @towe102productions

@delhorler5340
Good video, what CNC machine do you recommend for beginners?
Comment from : @delhorler5340

@micah_noel
Is the 65/10 relative to the price? In other words, is there a $150 CNC that gets a 10/10? Or is it a 65/10 competing with something that costs four times as much?
Comment from : @micah_noel

@robertrickman3531
I have a SainSmart 3018 that i got as a Gift last year (X-Mas 2024), and I DONT Love it( I dont HATE it, but I Dont Love it) It is Definitely a 'Starter' Machine Parts are readily available, and they are relatively easy to use, with decent Tech Support I do agree that a Larger Machine (4040) is the way to go if your trying to accomplish "NICE" things
Comment from : @robertrickman3531

@tommy2u
Thanks for the honest review It helps I think I'll pass on this machine :D
Comment from : @tommy2u

@hashtaglobotomy2655
So could this thing mill out the top part of the letter M <-- just like that? Say its out of an oak 2x4, could it make the little humps and all, even it it was slow? Like within 4 hours?
Comment from : @hashtaglobotomy2655

@bobvel7760
The thing is garbage…
Comment from : @bobvel7760

@mikepcoplin6800
Try WD-40 on machine parts and cutters and plastic machining, use a small brush or a hand scwert bottle and adjust your speeds and feeds Use a two or three flut end mill and try to reduce tooling flex by using the stubby-est milling bit you can find or make (using carbide is best, no tooling flex) Hope this helps !
Comment from : @mikepcoplin6800

@tripledstickers
Swap out the rods with Thompson Rod, this stuff is crazy strong
Comment from : @tripledstickers

@vaultking9984
I know know how big this is with the cheeseburger measurement
Comment from : @vaultking9984

@davidpalmer7175
In short It's a piece of $hit!
Comment from : @davidpalmer7175

@johnfinnerty3501
What software is available for this machine? There was no mention of any software to control it Thanks I was looking at this for engraving medals for competitions Would it be suitable for this?
Comment from : @johnfinnerty3501

@KillerKolt44
Can you manufacturer glock barrels
Comment from : @KillerKolt44

@JaimeSilva
what bits would you recommend to engrave the pcb?brnice video!
Comment from : @JaimeSilva

@kokeskokeskokes
I was thinking about buying one, throwing away all the electronics and testing my own, but when I saw the wobble I decided to pass Today I managed to find cca 25 years old machine, about the same size and same price, but weighting in at 30 kilosbrEdit: Got it 50 kilos Required 800 km drive to pick up Comagrav
Comment from : @kokeskokeskokes

@greggv8
Use it to mill a 3rd rail addon for the gantry

Comment from : @davedurkee8853

@mycinemax2653
can this engrave M8 X 24 X 2 mm 304 stainless steel washer?
Comment from : @mycinemax2653

@isaacschmitt4803
Dare I ask, how does it do with steel/aluminum? At a minimum and based on your experience with copper, I'm assuming you'd need to ground the piece But with the right bits, would it engrave/cut on this machine?
Comment from : @isaacschmitt4803

@skeletor8250
The biggest suspect in generating static electricity is not the copper board, it is the vacuum cleaner Constantly moving air and dust particles at high speed around electronic circuits is likely to be a science experiment in ESD
Comment from : @skeletor8250

@benfenton4
I'm not sure why YT recommended me to this, but I had to comment I saw the thumbnail and thought Jim Varney Incredible Good video too
Comment from : @benfenton4

@cx3268
Precision is the key Get what you pay for
Comment from : @cx3268

@TheyCallMeMagz
Didn't know bakelite was still used for anything
Comment from : @TheyCallMeMagz

@Reiikz
this is really interestingbrI want to get a 3D printer at some point, does anyone know of a CNC that's kind of designed to do both around a 300-400 USD price range?brIt'd be awesome if there was something I can get as a 3D printer and later be able to swap the tool head to do some milling on wood or plastic
Comment from : @Reiikz

@MassimilianoBellugoogle
Which software do you use? Is the initial setup complicate?
