I picked up a brand new Vevor off of facebook marketplace for $50 I use the solution sold at Harbor Freight for their parts washer in the Vevor It takes quite a while to heat up, and it's noisy as hell but does a real nice job on carbs Jewelry, too I've been wanting to try it with Evaporust I don't know what this thing costs new, but it was worth every penny that I paid for it Comment from : @hellonwheelz3317

You can fill a glass jar with any kind of cleaner you want and put parts into them and the come out clean I like glass over plastic because I think the glass transmits the sonic waves better I like to use dishwashing liquid And also Simple Green, Super Purple and other cleaners Comment from : @bobwiley6221

I've had the HF unit for over 10 years and it's still chuggingbrBought a larger Vevor and wasn't as impressed with it, it wouldn't get as hot as yours and the HOBO unit gets almost boiling and I've found it cleans extremely well, if it fits, it cleans it I only bought the Vevor unit to clean 12 speed mtn bike cassettes and have been mostly disappointed with it, actually It always cleaned my smaller cassettes perfectly Comment from : @Kinann

I own the harbor freight cleaner It really doesn’t do much Couldn’t clean carbs or brake cylinders and masters I’m ready to toss in the garbage can because I’m tired of a useless piece of junk taking up valuable bench space Have others had good luck with the HF unit? I have a smaller Vevor that I purchased for cleaning small engine carburetors Does an excellent job, seems to be well built Be advised:: some cleaning/degreaser solutions will react badly with aluminum and rubber parts To be safe i wash the crud off the outside of carbs before disassembly The i use Dawn dishwashing liguid as my degreaser Works very good but mat take longer Comment from : @daleemccombs8571

What really irks the crap outta me is that I have the Central Machinery machine but it says Lyman on it I got it at Cabela's for cleaning rifle brass, and Lyman is a prominent reloading company Later I saw the same machine at Harbor Freight The problem was that Lyman got me for an extra hundred bucks! Have you, or could you, measure the actual Wattage of your ultrasonic cleaners My Creworks cleaner is listed as 180 watts for the ultrasonic transducers When I measure it with a Kill-a-Watt meter using only the ultrasonic function of the cleaner, it measures between 110 and 135 watts I would be interested in knowing what your model is rated as and the actual power consumption You posted a great video and I appreciate the information you provided Comment from : @phoban1329

I have the smaller unit and I've had it for years I use it for cleaning locks and firearm parts, it's awesome! This year was the first time I used it to clean jewelry with an actual jewelry cleaning solution; I was blown away I have never seen gold, white gold, and silver blindingly shiny, nor have I seen diamonds sparkling unless they were in a display case I may pick up that larger unit for some larger lock projects 😁 Comment from : @therocketman321

The "Vevor" unit is just a generic ultrasonic cleaner, with a "Vevor" sticker on it - there are many units for sale with the same controller & electronics One point I would make, is the 'bowl' is glued into the chassis, but the glue is not great Be aware that at some point, the bowl will probably come unstuck and you can damage the ultrasonic transducer & heater etc, if the chassis falls away - always try and lift the unit from underneath Comment from : @RangieNZ
