It’s great and all but I don’t think my wife can use my chapter 35 out here in the Philippines I would have to move back to the USA for her to be able to utilize it We are slowly building our dream house in the Philippines and she doesn’t want to go to the US she’s fine here It would be great if she can attend school but I guess not If anyone has an answer to my question please let me know Comment from : @Puertoricanmarriedtofilipina |

So can a school qualifies for the Post 9/11 but not for the DEA Chapter 35? I am 100 P&T When I look at the VAGov site it shows out of pocket from sponsor to so much for the Post 9/11 and for Chapter 35 it show the full amount of tuition to get paid from Sponsor Thank you great video Comment from : @MrWright7672 |

304 DUAL ELIGIBILITY FOR CHAPTER 35 CHILDREN On October 8, 2008, the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims issued a ruling allowing a person eligible by means of more than one parent with a rating of Permanent and Total (P&T) disabled or who died due to a service connected disability to receive concurrent or consecutive payment of Chapter 35 benefits Although a dependent child with eligibility from multiple parents may elect to receive concurrent benefits (ie twice the full-time monthly rate), the child is still limited to a maximum of 45 or 36 months combined depending upon when chapter 35 was first used When concurrent benefits are paid, one month of entitlement must be deducted from each entitlement source A Veterans Claims Examiner (VCE) must manually limit entitlement used on both education records due to current system limitations Comment from : @tgarner567 |
