I’m confused Why would Chase even offer a Savings Account if the APY is pretty much near zero Wouldn’t that just be the same as keeping your money in checking?

Ally has some serious limits with large transfers and and make it challenging to move around large sums Bask Bank has the best interface for large transfers with minimum hold days and ease of use with international and brokerage accounts 😊

I'm new to these high yield savings accounts and am interested in opening an account I was wondering if these accounts have limits or fees on the number of times you can transfer funds out to other checking accounts? brbrI ask because I like to put majority of my income into a savings account and minimize the amount I have in my checking account (helps me spend less) But occasionally, I have to transfer funds from my savings account into my checking account for unforseen bills that come up I would like to avoid getting charged extremely ridiculous fees if possible

I currently have accounts with Ally and Marcus and I LOVE both of them and they haven't given me any issues, but I guess I can't help but be greedy and aim to have a 5 APY account like many other banks advertise I saw credit karma has a HYSA that offers 51 but I've heard bad things like lawsuits and stuff with them so idk if I trust having large sums of money in there like I would with Marcus or Ally if anyone has used Credit Karma HYSA id appreciate some input :)

Marcus was the worst decision I made They held they closed my account 2 days after opening and gave me a run around for 34 days to get all my savings back They never disclosed why, never sent a email, letter, or reached out 8 calls and over 1:15m call times each call I finally got refunded Some folks on Reddit have been going thru the same thing
