My family is considering the Remi A Pro 55-inch, Hisense 43-inch 43U6K, and Sony Bravia 3 55-inch TVs I'm not very knowledgeable about technology, but based on my research, with a budget of around $600, could you please help me choose? 12:05 def want to add that i use my tv with a media pc Modern igpus can smoke most tvs' soc image processing and i avoid using the smart tv functionality In your display adapter just make sure that display scaling is handled by the gpu and not the displaybrbrBonus points for far better buffering and video loading

Actually, maybe you can help me I have a 2013 Samsung LED 55" (UA55F7100) but yesterday I accidentally looked at TV's when buying a new fridge I was blown away by the quality of the new OLED from all the companies, especially the Samsung and LG Can I ask is the a massive difference in these 2 technologies when it comes to streaming on Prime and Netflix? I know those store demo modes make them look outrageously good, I would prefer to take my tv in and set it up side by side with a usb stick and a movie I am familiar with to try and recognise any difference I am a little perplexed as there was an opened box deal on just 1 Samsung 77" S95C for only $2500AUD which is roughly 1285 pounds but I am worried it's over kill as I only use the TV for movies, I don't have it connected to an antenna Any advice would be truly appreciated as that TV could sell at any moment

8K isn't about the resolution I mean, there isn't content for it anywaysbr8K is about pixel or gate size Smaller gates means more control over light, and generally faster response times (at least at the pixel level even if the controllers can't keep up) when compared to similarly sized TVs at lower resolutions

cant lie refresh rate is king as well as hdr modes, especially when mostly using a pc as an input I used to think 60hz was plenty but once you start using 120/144 hz its tough to go back HDR10 is problematic especially using a windows computer as sadly windows implementation of HDR is still piss poor

OLED burn in is still a problem!!brNot only that, their lifespan is way shorter than other technologies An LCD screen can last you 10 years of intensive use OLED doesn't, the pixels will dim unevenly over it's lifespan and there is an allround dimming as well There is a lot of important information missing here

Funny that all TV makers asume everybody wants to have their living room like a frigging PUB I'll pass on that In my social bubble having a 70" TV is joining the lower income side of the hood and screams "Football" (for US readers: the game with a round ball and 22 over-tattoed over-paid lads on grass) My wife is even more strict so 32" it is (I tried 37, but that had to go) And on the small size, absolutely NOTHING is being made So we went for a 2009 Sony Bravia, and you know what, it has stellar IQ because it has no local dimming that turns into dirty screen effect over time, and gorgeous colours thanks to CCFL backlight Yeah, its 65W energy use is high by todays standards, but still it should deserve lable A on an absolute scale that does not give benefit to bigger size panels People are amazed by what it still offers after 14 years On my office I've a 25€ yesteryears 42" Plasma, my guilty pleasurebrWe DO have the best soundsystem in the street though Massive 25kg center speaker, 2 floor standing 1m20 tall full-range ones on a proper distance from the TV Huge Onkyo 92 receiver Even though we mostly watch quality drama series and arthouse films, the voice dialog is on cinematic quality and the music really shines Our niche seems to have been forgotten by SoccerSamsung and FootbaLG
