yeah, but she said she already budgets family fun and clothes, which is already more or less discretionary So, to have another 120 on top isn't too much to cut down if you're already budgeting for other "fun" stuff It isn't a lot, but it can be tightened I think I guess it depends how you define your "clothes" and "family fun" budget I suppose

Perfect response Some of these Dave Ramsay followers go more and more extreme every month on their budget as some kind of competition; moreso than even Dave would recommend Once you're out of debt you can loosen the belt a bit - that was the point of getting out of debt! $87,000 with a 30 dollar a week discretionary spending allowance? That's a 14 year old's yard care allowance, not for an adult making near 6 figures
