Racing gets expensive fast, so whatever you get make sure you can afford the tires and a good amount of maintenance/repais depending on car, track time and type of racing Otherwise you will have a fun car that you can’t afford to race much So for me, even if it is a second car, get a Miata I accidentally fell in love with them I’ll be in my vette, and Miata’s will still turn my head bc they are so much fun So many good choices in this vid though

C5 Corvette has to be my favorite car that I have ever owned A good runner up for this list is the Nissan 350/370Zs I like driving those For the experience, the 1988 Fiero GT/Formula is a good, fun car If it something to beat on Get a Dodge Charger Pursuit Hemi You can awd or rwd They are better than an R/T with upgraded brakes, stiffer suspension, and better cooling A strut bar will give you a surprising boost in handling Mainly in the slalom

Miata is always the answer unless the question is high horsepower stock, good in the snow, fits someone over 5'8", etc As a horsepower junkie that lives in colorado and is over 6' tall Miata is never the answer for me

You rich guys might not be familiar with it, but I'd say the Toyota MR-2 Spyder, it's faster, more agile, and cheaper than a Miata, and because it's a Toyota the engine would survive getting nukedbrSecond place I would give to the Smart Roadster, also something most of you guys aren't familiar with because it wasn't released in the USA, it isn't fast and the shifts are slow, but it's only 760 kilograms so perfect for twisty roads
