I just have 1 question How do you call this a list of "affordable" sports cars when you have a M2, Audi TT, Corvette, Alfa Romeo 4c, and Porsche Cayman on it But not have a Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Golf R, Golf GTI, WRX, or Civic Type R on it?

Affordable must mean something different on your planet Good list overall though brNo WRX, no Type R, no Si, no Focus RS? All true drivers cars and all good values for under $45 K The RS will outhandle most of your list _delas will the Type R And the new Si is so good, and such a great value I bought one/del after test driving an RS and WRX Adaptive dampers steering, and throttle, limited slip to eliminate torque steer, 97 g on a skidpad, brthe perfect amount of seat bolstering, performance gauges galore, turbo charging with strong mid range torque, and one of the best lightweight chassis out there for under $25k and still no love from you And the Type R is so good they sold for well over list But go ahead and recommended the 'affordable' TTRS and Cayman, lol Great cars no doubt But still

Alright so i'm gonna make a list for new cars under 30k (affordable for most people) brbrFor small and light rwd cars (note these are all close) - first miata, second brz/86, third fiat 124 spyderbrbrFor as much power as you can for the money - first (tied) mustang and camaro, third (tied) challenger/charger, honorable mention (barely under 30k, but hasnt changed in a while so used is a good option) 370zbrbrFor best hatchbacks (these are also really close) - first (barely under 30k ) GTI, second 2019 veloster, third civic si (honorable mention but they are discontinuing it) fiesta/focus stbrbrFor people who like tiny cars that can sky rocket in price but are fun to drive - first and only the mini CooperbrbrIf you need awd (getting pretty old but is still fun) - wrxbrbrMost fun if you need room or are on a pretty tight budget - the Honda fitbrbrSorry for long post lol

Dear AutoGuidecom affordable is more like a car that you can get for $30k or closer to that number Also the BMW at the beginning looks like a sedan plus there is no affordability in BMW

Maybe Autoguide should have put the cars on the list in categories to show how they are affordable Like affordable everyday sports car and affordable luxury sports car The Alfa Romeo and Porshe are affordable, but only when compared to the sportscars their luxury competition brands offer

370Z is only affordable if you buy one that's a decade old MX-5 isn't affordable at $26k base and same with 86 unless you buy a 5 year old model for <$15k

Toyota 86, WTF That's NOT a sports car, and at 26K USD it's not cheap or good value It's a RWD Prius and only looks slightly better In the US you guys have so many good value sports cars it's quite strange you would even put the 86 or the Miata on any list!

The Camaro 1LE won't be available in the 4 cyl turbo until the next year 2019 with the new gen 6 And, it's a $8000 option in the supercharged ZL1, making it a whopping $70000

I don't consider anything over $50k "affordable" when you end up with a mortgage-sized payment In the $20k range, the Miata/BRZ-FRS reigns, but you can make a GTI/Focus ST go much quicker and have much more convenience for the same money so I rather have those In the 30s the 370Z is a good choice, but most people go with the Camaro/Mustang since you get a lot more engine performance and don't lose much in the handling department In the 40s the 1LE Camaro is king, nothing touches it and remains the performance bargain of the decade, and $10k later you have the C7 Corvette Z51 which looks and handling are epic
