For the strumming pattern types shown at 15:00 ig, its not too hard to learn 1 month ago, i had to slow down a lot and move smoothly and increase the tempo by 5bpm, got the patterns in one session Fyi, i started 2 months ago

Been playing guitar for over 30 years, but not consistently for a few and this is helpful in explaining why I remember a lot of things I do that I took for granted That kind of fine motor memory fades over time, and now I am brushing up on it before my new US Stratocaster shows up I have only owned inferior copies made in Asian countries thus far

Interesting that musicians spent decades taking on the record companies and saying they only cared about money and not the art nor artists Presently we have artists taking up entrepreneurship on youtube/social media And most of them or too many of them are the money sluts that they labeled the record companies If you are going to teach; TEACH! If you are going to advertise; ADVERTISE! When you try to teach when you are really advertising you come off as a fake, a politician, a charleton, etc You are selling snake oil by telling me you are going to teach for 1 hour You are a horrible teacher not just because you are advertising but because you ASSUME that replaying an inept teaching video will somehow magically fill in all of the gaps that are present in this teaching session

Thank you Rick I disagree that you should mute with the thumb because it may make things easier at first but places a ceiling on your more advanced techniques Just my opinion I think it's best to train the right hand to be more precise That also helps with more advanced techniquesbrbrNevertheless, thank you for sharing this This underscores that so many great musicians, like yourself, have different approaches, and you have to find what works best for you
