Do they actually transfer humidity or is it just that a change in air temp changes the Relative Humidity of the air, due to how much moisture air can hold at a given temp? Genuine question as I don't understand how something can be airtight to stop air mixing but also transfer humidity ✌

Would I need to install a unit like this to help with moisture on the windows in the winter time? I live in south east Wisconsin The home is only 1 year old We have condensation on the windows when we get up in the morning Humidity levels are upper 40s low 50s in the house during the winter time

How much does the core cost if so? I know these HRVs can vary quite a lot in size depending on how many square feet they are intended for

there is only 1 manufacturer that puts out an erv for hung windows like mine very expensive for what it is Looks just like a window airconditioner wwwpurifreshcom/ervhtml these things shouldnt cost more than a cheap walmart window airconditioner honestly i dont understand how come its so expensive to buy it anyone could install one
