Easy to follow Took the MSF and passed but this is what I would expect for beginners and sadly it’s not exactly what I got taking the course A lot of confusion and self confidence in riding went down but this video demonstrates flawlessly 👌🏻 Comment from : @CS-qd2re |

Agree or disagree But as far as I'm concerned, bike tests these days are just a money-making scam When I was younger, you took your test on the road with one guy standing and watching you and it must have taken half an hour All this crap now is just to con people out of a lot of money, and I don't like being conned I haven't passed my test, but I was riding a 250-cc for years and never had any accidents It may be important if you intend to ride a high-powered bike but not a 250-cc There is nothing they could teach me that would make me ride any better I'm sure it would be far easier and less hassle to get your pilots license I only wish I had taken my test before they brought all this bullsh*t in Comment from : @345seadog |

Automatically liked the vid when you said you were 5’6 I think I’m also 5’6 not sure but also a short king 😂 I’ll be practicing on how to ride a bike on my cousins bike his is a 868cc bike not sure what manufacturer but it’s a lot of power and I drive a manual car as a daily so I know the concept of the clutchbrbrUpdate it’s a 2021 Yamaha mt-09 Comment from : @chrissanchez9218 |
great video man A lot of other videos teaching this made me anxious to ride a bike and feel like I couldn't do it but you explained it all very thoroughly and calmly and made it seem doable and understandable! Thank you! Comment from : @DelScully |
So wait, is this not like the clutch in a manual transmission car? Riding the clutch is so bad in a car, but here it seems totally fine to keep holding down on the clutch Comment from : @thecasualcanuck4590 |

Nice video, very informative before I get my driving course Just 1 question, is it ok to hold on to your clutch for a long time? I'm familiar with the car clutch, and stepping on it longer than normal is bad, but is it the same for clutched motorcycles? Comment from : @mgdiccion |
I'm seriously considering one but been wondering how different is it from a four wheeler with switching gears lol Comment from : @laynaminchew1955 |
i think the hardest part would be getting it to an empty parking lot lmao Comment from : @Acerin78 |
Foot brake should be used 99 of the time u idiotbr(If u use front brake your rear tyres gonna be in the air and you’ll have a good chance of felling down) Comment from : @mr7_noob |

If I’m in traffic and just need to slow down should I shift to first gear or just hold in the clutch to slow down or can I just apply brakes in first or second gear without using the clutch to slow down ? Comment from : @Truhsty |
I use rear brake 90 of the time not the front I only use front when needed Comment from : @S-MotoAdventure |
Thank you for tHis! I did my cbt, started on a motorbike and the rest of the people were so far ahead of me, and the instructor was being a bit too harsh, I was on the verge of tears because I was embarrassed and ashamed of myself, tbh I was getting it very slowly, but I felt it wasn’t explained enough to me, half way through, the guy said do an automatic scooter and you’ll pass So I did my test on a scooter and passed, so I think it’s mainly the gears and stuff but yeah, going for some lessons this week with a different instructor at a new place that’s apparently really nice, and they’re only 1 hour lessons which I find good cause I can get overwhelmed 😊 Comment from : @crazydaisy3212 |
U don't release the gas when sifting? Comment from : @rick6541 |
For someone who never used a clutch before, I think it's a good idea to crank up the idle enough to take off without stalling and even shift into second That way they can get used to how the clutch works with a few practice runs before cracking the throttle on their new Hayabusa Comment from : @DayakDreams |

I started an internship in the summer of 2022 My boss and his family ride Indian motorcycles He slowly got me into looking online at motorcycles that were cool to me By the time I finished the internship in the fall of 2022, I was able to recognize what the make and model of each bike was just on sound alone We terminated my internship as soon as we started dating I began riding backpack on his 2022 Indian Chief We spent a year and a half looking at bikes for me Just having me sit on them and get used to the weight of them Late in the fall of 2022, we had me try to learn the very beginning basics of riding on his older Suzuki I got comfortable with walking the bike and holding it up He was so patient with me However, for me the controls of the bike didn’t make sense He was trying to explain the mechanics of the bike to me while telling me what to do I was overwhelmed with all of the information I decided to just give it a go and ended up stalling the bike and dropped it It didn’t discourage me though from getting back on Jump to fall of 2023, and he had me sit in front of him on the Yamaha TTR 200 The throttle to me felt a bit touchy I was learning to slowly let out the clutch while he gave it some gas He gave it too much gas while I was slowly letting out the clutch (not dumping it) and we pulled a nooner That terrified me I was disheartened and afraid I would go end over or pop a wheelie again I also was frustrated with trying to understand friction point and throttle work together and finding the right amount of wrist flick to give it Jump to current, riding backpack for 15 years I started to watch him run the controls while riding in the back and identifying when the motor is wrapped up to shift gears, when to pull in the clutch, and hearing the heel/ toe shifter shifting He recently showed me that you can just let the clutch out in first and go slow to a speed I’m comfortable with as I feared taking off too fast having to use throttle right away in first gear I didn’t know you didn’t have to use throttle starting out in first as a beginner and getting used to it sort of coasting if you will I still had a hard time understanding the order of starting the bike, getting it into first gear, shifting into second, slowing the bike, and stopping it I watched this and it’s honestly the best explanation and video showing the process that I’ve come across After looking into hundreds of bikes over the last year and a half we found my bike I’m soon to be buying the Royal Enfield GT 650 in chrome It meets all of the criteria I’m looking for in a bike Thank you for putting out this content This makes me feel so prepared for getting back on the bike and working at the beginnings again 🙏🏼 Comment from : @thatgirlnaat |
