I've always debated whether I should include my house and 401k when calculating net worth Dave has given me an answer here I still wonder what "my portfolio" means For instance, when someone says to limit something to 5 of my portfolio Is this the total of all my investments? Am I including/excluding my 401k, IRA, Bonds, Cash? I guess that one is for another day
