16 year old here, i always loved planes since I was a kid Flying was always my dream I started using the simulator a few months ago and I already know the prefloght, startup, take off and landing, and I hope I can get into flight school soon brI want to reach the sky

Have been watching religiously the past few days alongside doing the Sportys ground school and visually seeing things that are discussed in ground school here helps tremendously I go up next Thursday for my 1st lesson and with these videos I believe it will help me feel not so overwhelmed At least initially

Excellent! Glad the name of this channel is "Angle of Attack" instead of "Bernoulli BS" Unfortunately 1/2 of the world somehow still thinks that airplanes fly because of the Bernoulli effect I call them "Bernoiullidiots" Thanks for the great instructional video (C210T pilot, retired)

This gives me butterflies in my stomach I'm in Iraq now working a contract for a couple years, but I fully intend on coming home and getting by CPL so I can finally change my career (or, perhaps find a job that does both aviation and aligns with my job) This video is great I can't wait to finally be financially stable enough to come home and get on with it already

We are all taught to look around and shout "Clear Prop" but what I often see is both "clear prop" and ignition are nearly simultaneous thereby not allowing someone to actually move away

This weekend I am going to teach the basics of flying, on the ground, to my 6 year old grandson, at his request What would you cover in the first hour or so? I bought Microsoft’s Flight Simulator software and some HOTAS controls; so much better than the early version of Flight Simulator I ran on my Apple IIC, about 45 years ago!!

I’m 15 and starting flight lessons every other week, it is really fun and my instructor is great too I fly in a Bristol (Bristel?) which is not currently rated to fly in the clouds, but is really easy to control and manage the systems/avionics

I am well aware everyone learns at a different pace As an instructor I imagine you will teach certain maneuvers,brprocedures, and obvious talking to ATC is another whole cat My Q is and the answer will prob come back in hours brhow many lessons will you need to see to make an est ---- Of a student that's become ready to solo ? Taking the ATC communication part out of it
