1:12 You left out the full tests: it needs to be weighed and have the dimensions checked I'd also flip it over and scan the other side with the Sigma, as it doesn't test very far into the surface A ping test is also a good idea, and tests throughout the coin unlike the original Sigma

I take issue with your comment that more people prefer 24k Gold, when the American Gold Eagle is the highest volume coin, well, there you go, the people have spoken with their wallets They can buy Pure 24k, yet they chose the AGEs Yes some people do prefer it, but that cannot ignore the fact of how popular the AGEs are!

22k gold is better because If you had to circulate it, it would last 24k gold will ware very fast if you had to barter with it The purity doesn't matter!!! As long as it has 1oz of gold in the coin it doesn't matter

Ya, the Buffalo is one of my favorite gold coins too Beautiful design, and 4 9's or 24k which is nice I just recently picked up one of the reverse proofs the mint made a few years back at my LCS It was graded proof 70 by NGC My LCS charged me a $10 premium over what they were selling generic Buffalo's for that day, so I felt like I scored on it That reverse proof is a beautiful coin, but there's not a gold coin that I own that I do not like I like gold in every form
